Retailers need to get the idea out of their heads that this gun is worth more than one fifty.
Appparently ground shipping is not an option to South Florida, 2nd Day Air ($18.00) Next Day Air ($37.00)
Great little gun for the price. I recently got one in FDE. I've only got a few hundred rds through it, but no issues yet.
Super long trigger, but that's not a bad thing in a DAO w/no safety

Better buy their entire remaining inventory, then! At this price, you'll be wealthy in investment silver AND firearms, all at once.
In all seriousness, they're a good - and getting even better - weapon, from a company that gives outstanding customer support. I've been very pleased.
The magazines will hold 11 rounds with no problems. I can't believe how compact this pistol is, especially considering it can shoot 12 rounds.
I read a comment regarding this on the SCCY forum by one of the more savvy SCCY aficionados ... it basically says that forcing an 11th round into the mag can upset the spring's functionality due to extreme compression, and potentially cause a feed failure. It was designed to safely hold 10, + one in the chamber... that's still eleven rounds, total, and a lot of firepower for a reasonably compact yet beefy piece.
Picked up one of these after Christmas when they were $219. Great gun for the price, mine printed to the right but the back sight (3-dot) is adjustable. The extended base plate that came installed is very sharp so I changed them out for the supplied flat base plate. Also ate everything I fed through it - Winchester brass and Wolf steel worked great.

All CPX-2s are gen2 sccy. I really like mine so far.I did have to polish the feed ramp because I had a few FTFs. The slide wasn't going into full battery. CS is top notch. They redesigned their base plates and they sent them for free along with the older style slide lock for free, they didn't even ask for a SN#.
Some of these were shipped with weak springs that caused FTF as you described. You might want to look into that.
I had the same experience as you did with CS. They sent new plates and slide release, no questions asked. I like mine a lot!

Have the all-black CPX-2. Fantastic pocket 9mm...lifetime warranty on the firearm, not the owner, parts are cheap, it's dead accurate, and made in the USA.
What more could you ask for?
