I've been waiting for these to hit $199 again. Along with $15 shipping and no credit card fees... well let's just say they won over a new customer.

Ah... victory was short lived... Gun fails to extract cartridge from the chamber about 10 times through my first box of Federal ammo then 15 on the next box of Remington ammo. On its' all expenses paid vacation to Daytona beach. Should have purchased an LC9s.

I got mine for about this price. With FFL and shipping I think I paid $225 total. I picked it up a few days ago, but just got a chance to shoot it a few hours ago.

Put 70 rounds through it without any problem at all. That was with two kinds of ammo. It is comfortable in the hand and fits great in a Sticky Holster. I didn't expect to find a really good carry gun at this price, but this is it.

Great price on a great gun. About a year ago they were selling for $199 +tax/FFL, so this isnt far off the mark.

Thinking about buying one of these? Make sure you try to shoot one before you do. That's a good idea with any pistol, but just FYI, I had one of these and ended up trading it.

I loved how it felt in my hand, it's very light and easy to conceal, capacity is good, reliability was good, but I absolutely HATED shooting it. This will be the case with most of these light 9mm DAO guns, but the trigger is absolutely horrid, it's really snappy and hurt my hand (mine was an earlier version without the grip cutouts, that might help)

The gun is great at doing what it is designed for. Im sure some people love them. I didn't want to carry a pistol I couldn't stand to practice with.

I went with something along the same price range but much nicer IMO and with a great DA/SA trigger (although larger and heavier) I got a Sar B6PC 13+1 (copy of smaller Witness P-CZ75 based)

Don't mean to knock this gun, just want to help.

There's a big size and weight difference between the SCCY and the Sar B6PC. The Sar weighs 25 oz unloaded and has a longer barrel (3.8") whereas the SCCY is 15 oz with a shorter barrel (3.1"). If you can comfortably carry a heavier pistol that's awesome and there are many options available. But some people need something smaller and lighter for CCW and don't want to sacrifice capacity. If you want to stay under 15 ounces most small 9s only hold 7-8 rounds. The SCCY and Kel-Tec P11 both offer you 10+1, but you're stuck with a DAO trigger which comes with a heavier pull (9lbs) which can take a little bit to get used to.

The ArmaLaser retails for $93. It's the only instinctive laser currently available for SCCY pistols. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00AWZI942/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1383786928&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX110_SY165_QL70...
