Had to carry one of these around in IRAQ, complete fucking junk.

Fantastic weapon and my preferred go-to of choice and I have two very nice DPMS AR10 variants-not cheapo junk $1500 units either and still the SCAR is what I grab. It is the entire package. Some can argue and try to convince themselves otherwise, but I guess it sucks to be poor.

Just like I said... The poor sucker who overpaid will argue otherwise. Wow - comparing to your 2 DPMS rifles. Stellar!

You're not clear - are you calling me poor because I have one or other people who don't run out and buy one poor?

Sure seems like a dumb move either direction - nobody's calling name's so why this desperate sounding post? Maybe you're linked to the seller somehow and trying to convince people they really should go out a pay too much for this "meh" rifle. All because you grab it more than your "high-end" DPMS rifles.

WHAT? This is no deal - screw FN and their policies but if this is the case why are others advertising them lower. Personally this gun isn't worth this much and the only person who would argue otherwise is someone who overpaid already... The muzzle brake on this thing SUCKS and will have to be changed out at a minimum. Save yourself some money and buy a more capable 7.62x51 at a fraction of this cost.

Due to FNH'S MAP policy, we cannot advertise below the price they tell us. This is why we put *Make an offer*. We'd rather get it out there that there are CA models availible with the ability to adjust on the price.

Other websites sell these for $2500 and you guys make an ad to sell them for $2950? Come on! This website is called gun.deals not rich stupid suckers.

so what's your best deal price?

Silly question. I often see this rifle offered for sale in the $2K+ range, and it appears there are a fair number of customers willing to pay the price for it. I've never seen one in real life, let alone fired one. What justifies the high price? Is it really that much valuable than, say, a $1,500 M14/M1A?

It's a battle proven high quality rifle with a solid design and not much recoil for the caliber. Take a look at the YouTube review from Hickock45.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tAMsNipVpI4... (and yes.. he is consistently missing left when trying to shoot the down-range watermelon!)

Having said all that, yes you are buying a Lexus when a Honda will do the same exact job.

If you made $$$ by the truck...nay semi-loads like the wall st. bankers (and politicians) and live mainly of investments like the top 2%, then easy come easy go...you don;t mind buying into the hype of a SCAR for $2k+

If you're kicking dust 40 hours fto bring home the bacon, you will be scouring for deals on DPMS and AR-10's

either that or some were dropped on their head as babies; to be willing to fork out such an obscene amount
