Optics planet sucks.Don't waste your time ordering from these clowns.I tried to order almost $1,000 in parts only to be put on a wait list and after 2 weeks still never shipped.Called to cancel and they had no problems cancelling without finding out why I was cancelling. They are a middle man in parts ordering.Make sure if you decide to order from them make sure it says in stock ready to ship but even then their system sucks.

I’ve had a lot of good experiences with them, but a few bad as well. One ordeal involving them cancelling my order the day it arrived and sending it back to them. Then, taking nearly 6 weeks, spending over 10 hours on live chat talking to customer support and managers for them to give me back my $900. I’ve had an overall better experience with Brownells.

They are some of the biggest crooks and liars on the internet. Good deals mean very little to me if you're always screwing people over.

Yup, ordered from them and the site clearly said “in stock.” 3 weeks later they still had no firm ETA, so I canceled the order and bought from another retailer. Great prices don’t mean crap if you never get the product.

One of the worst companies I’ve had the misfortune of dealing with. As many have said, it’s a hit or miss and I’ve tried ordering from them 4 different times and not once did I ever receive the items I ordered, so I avoid them completely now. To each their own though, just my two cents

Hit or miss with these dudes. I ordered the FDE one 2 days ago and it shipped today. But I have had orders take weeks.

Think this will get any cheaper?

Maybe. But you can always buy a second one later when they get cheaper :-)

After talking to customer service at opticsplanet, there are 17 states where tax is added. Because I live in Indiana, 7% was added. So after logging in for VIP pricing, some states will still have to pay more. My subtotal was 195 before I logged in and when I did it became $209 once they learned where I resided. Cost me $209 out the door with the 18years code for 11% off. I hope this helps because I was confused how everyone else got it so cheap.

Washington State requires any eCommerce that has over $100,000 in sales in the State or over 200 transactions collect "USE TAX" of 8.4% as of Sept. 29th 2018. Mafia Government always gets a cut!

When I access optics planet through the email I got it shows up as $207.49 and then the 11% off of that is $184. I can try sending you the email if you wanna try.

Ah, that was key - You must login to get "VIP Pricing." Now I'm at $177! Thanks!
