If you enjoy braces like these and want to continue to use them, keep in mind that if you use profanity your comment can and will be ignored.:

If you want a short vid explaining how to submit a comment, here's a decent video outlining that:

Agree you shouldn't use profanity. But ATF is going to ignore your comment regardless. Because they can. Yeah, I submitted mine, because why not...but I have zero faith that it will make a difference.

Under the proposed ATF brace guidelines drafted on June 7th, the SBA3 brace design alone, in the ATF’s example, would fail the points count by having 8 points in Section 2 (4 points is considered an SBR).

With their definition on points, any brace can meet this point issue. It is all about "their" interpretation. Can you really with definitive proof say that all braces can't be shouldered. No manufacturer is going to design a brace with the intent to shoulder. That doesn't mean they can't be but that you are leaving the ATF to determine that which is an easy way to blanket all braces.

Yup...this is about to become an expensive and mediocre shoulder stock. Wait, what am I saying...that's what it's ALWAYS been.

Wow, way to support the ATF and not stand up for the firearm community.

Not sure how you came to that conclusion. I think the NFA and GCA are un-Constitutional and should be repealed.

I'm also shocked it took ATF this long to realize that people are buying "braces" to create de facto SBRs outside the scope of the NFA. These braces look more and more like stocks each passing year. When manufacturers started releasing braces that fit on a standard carbine receiver extension, I knew the jig was up.

Anyway, my point is that braces have always been mediocre, over priced shoulder stocks designed to circumvent the NFA. That's a statement of fact, not one of condemnation.

If ATF is gonna make braces stocks, then we might as well just put actual stocks on our pistols and call it a day. Companies like SB Tactical have been and will be happy to continue to take our money for their overpriced crap as long as possible.

This assessment will be proven to be 100% accurate 5 years from now.

It’s all very unfortunate, but we all need to live in reality and depend on one another for noncompliance. It’s the only way.

Flimsy stock? How about $29.99

The ad says this is BATFE compliant and U.S. veteran designed; however, only one of those statements is true.

They did the same thing with bump stocks right before they got banned

They did what? Primary Arms is the only store selling them for $99. Everyone else is selling them at Covid prices still. These were $99 or under at several venders before Covid. Next, the FDE version and all SB Tactical braces are still normal price at Primary Arms.

You all are pulling sh!t out of your a$$ and slinging it everywhere without any facts, logic, or common sense. One vender is selling one company's one color of one specific model of brace for a price that it's historically has been, and you all act like the sky is falling!

Primary Arms also dropped the price on some of their LPKs, handguards, and several other items and accessories across their site. I guess we should panic over those too? You're connecting dots that aren't really there.

This the equivalent of getting a good deal on tickets to sail on the Titanic?

If they ban them, they're skyrocket in price. Instant profits!!!

If your looking for an sba3 Goggle - Brbdistributor pistol brace - according to there website, its a limited run, made without branding, from the same company as the big name brand for ($37.99) - worth every penny

That sure does feel like fraud, friend. Big fat nope for me.

I didn’t say patent infringement. I said fraud. That site is sketchy AF. I would advise against it, but you do you.

ME technology, inc. Dba (CCA USA) hold patterns on many of the sb tactical braces and the roni, micro-roni, MCK pistol conversion kits with fore-arm gripping stabilizer brace but there list of patents does not include the sba3

the expectation is that the price will go to zero soon unless the ATF reverses course.

Just marking for historical purposes. 11/25/2020, advertised for $99 @ Primary Arms. Looks like the lowest was $89 on 11/25/2018 @ Primary Arms.

I'd sit this one out right now, especially for above $100. A few pols are going to bat for us, but the ATF's starting to dick around about braces again.

Way overpriced. Should be around the $75 range.

Anyone else have issues with these being crazy tight on the buffer tubes they come with? I've got two of these in not too long ago and I tried oiling up the tube and working it back and forth hoping it would loosen up, but its not working.

Are you putting it on a carbine buffer tube or a SBTactical buffer tube? One has 6 positions, the other has 5.

I've noticed it at the shows, but not as much on my personal ones. I think the lever might not be fully disengaging the notches, once it stared to move it was fine. Technically it's a standard carbine tube, so you could try it on another one. If uncle same asks, it was the one you bought it with.
