Interesting, I also bought FV model for the similar price after carefully reading the specs on Savage website just before Christmas and it ended up NOT having accutrigger and any bases for the scope... Bummer. Man I was so pissed, especially given you can't return firearms after you bought them. So now I'll personally be super cautious with Savage as some rifles they sell can have different specs and accessories than ones listed on their website... just sayin'

No offense, but if you buy any firearm without seeing it first, you've got to take your time before accepting it from your FFL dealer to make sure it's exactly what you ordered. If not simply refuse the transfer and have them send it back at the sellers expense. Gun sellers need to make sure their listings are accurate, and you shouldn't eat it if they don't.

I agree, lesson learned :) I just never could've imagined such a reputable manufacturer as Savage blatantly liying in firearm specs :-( Lucky it was a $160 gun, not some $1000+ piece, lesson was not that expensive lol, but i guess no more savage for me ever...
