Description

Possibly the most rigorously tested pistol ever developed, the new SAR9 endured 130° baking to simulate desert conditions, -50° for the arctic, salt fog, high altitude, 24 hours of rain, solar radiation, fouling, drop tests and 150,000 round of live fire in the factory. Police later ran their own test that included 50,000 rounds. Finally, a NATO test against major manufacturers from Austria, German and the U.S. ran 90,000 rounds with the SAR9 the clear winner. However, the SAR9 has more to offer than just toughness and reliability. The lightweight polymer framed, striker fired, 9mm, SAR9 points naturally and is a pleasure to shoot. With a choice of three insertable back straps to customize fit, a low barrel axes to grip ratio to lessen muzzle climb and 20 degree grip angle providing superior control and fast second shot recovery… accuracy is built in. Couple these features with a safety trigger that is smoother than a double action revolver and the SAR9 becomes the perfect carry-pistol when you want a round in the chamber.

"Don't put off until tomorrow that which you can achieve today." That is to say... Google it and find out? All anybody on here will ever do for you when yoi ask that kind of question is Google it, may as well cut out the middleman. Cheers.

Before you buy, find one dealer that has extra mags. Good luck!!!

Yes. But that can be said for many guns. Try finding someone selling mags for a ROCK Ultra FS HC doublestack 10mm. Like you said, good luck. Before I buy any auto, I make sure I can pick up 3-6 extra mags for it. If they are hard to find, forget it.

How about you not tell everyone where to buy their $hit. When you start earning THEIR paycheck, then you can. That XBOX you are playing right now was made in China.

Yes, only buy American made products which were assembled in Taiwan, sold by foreign conglomerates that are owned by Chinese shareholders.

I thought the same when I first got mine, then I researched it and that’s how those people spell their country in english. DoItRite (on YouTube) explains it.

Anyone else notice in pic #1 it says "Made in TURKYE"? Yes spelled just like that? Blow up the pic and look for yourself. ..hope that's not correct cause it may show a problem with QC....

Yeah, it’s just how the TURKS spell the name of their country. But ignorance is bliss!

Not a QC problem at all. "Turkey" in Turish is "Türkiye". So the bastardization of the word (or americanization, if you prefer) is what you see on the gun.

Actually that is exactly how to spell it...

    Google Translation Active-

Turkey ( Turkish : Türkiye [tyɾcije]), officially known as the Republic of Turkey ( Türkiye Cumhuriyeti [tyɾcije d͡ʒumhuɾijeti] Listen ( help · Information ) ) is a Eurasian country that stretches across the Anatolian Peninsula in Western Asia and the Balkan region of southern Europe .

If you can put the politics aside, this firearm is one of the most well built handguns I have purchased. Have 1500rds through mine that I bought at Duds for $360 and have had zero failures. I own many HK’s and Glocks and this is the closest thing you will find if HK and Glock had a baby. The only negative I have on it is the slide finish is not near as durable as Glocks Tenifer. But I bought this gun to run and run hard so keeping it pretty means next to nothing to me.

Well, HiPoint firearms have been shown to be highly reliable and durable by many reviewers as well. That does not mean that they are contenders for $500-700 firearms. I suspect that this is the case here as well. For the price, this may be a decent firearm, no argument. But side by side with another gun that costs $100 more, it would take a second place in the accuracy, durability, and perhaps even comfort.

"But side by side with another gun that costs $100 more, it would take a second place in the accuracy, durability, and perhaps even comfort."

For somebody that makes it abundantly clear they've never even been in the same ROOM as this gun, you make a lot of obnoxiously presumptuous claims. Calm down, sport.

without owning one, and testing it how could you possibly know that?

Coming back after a long hiatus… Any comments on how your guns held up after all these years: reliability and accuracy -wise? Genuinely curious.

Is that from user experience? Probably not. Are you an Engineer? Probably not. Do you know anything about quality firearms...most definitely not. So STFU unless you can support your comments either by facts or personal user experience. @15 weeks in to being a member on here your opinion means little to nothing anyway.
