  • This is a nice "Budget Tactical Sport". It has a steel frame, steel slide, aluminum grips. SAO-only trigger. The trigger was on the good side, but not excellent, out of box. The slide was rough out of the box -- the hammer had a bad rough finish -- but with a little love and lube it is slick as can be now. It has adjustable trigger pre and post travel screws which is a nice touch. The trigger is on the heavier side for a gun like this, but it accepts CZ75 trigger and sear springs (not TS/Shadow 2 springs!). Check out Patriot Defense for those. It also accepts standard CZ75 mags with over 17 rounds. Notes about that: the CZ shadow type mags are different, and the 19 rd mec gar CZ75 mags are actually 17 rd mags with a big baseplate. The baseplate won't fit in the K12's magwell without modification. I got those 19 rounders to work by removing some material on the baseplate. SARUSA also sells extra mags like the ones that come with the gun. Finally, the EGW EAA Super Sight mounts work for this gun, and so I put a Leupold DPP on mine. Mine hasn't had any failures and is a good shooter. I shoot it the cheapest russian ammo I can find and it shoots it fine. All my friends want one now haha. For the price this is a heckin bargain.

Beautiful gun. It’s a shame it will have to be confiscated and destroyed once democrats and the some in the GOP get finished. Nobody seems to want to fight. Sad. Shoot it while you can I guess.

They are trying anything they can right now.
I would not hold my breath....they might find some way to make something stick.
They are not dumb, they just act like it as a ruse
Look at how f'd the country is right now, and it was not a mistake, they did it intentionally.
Couldn't pull that off by being stupid.
I really hope you don't think your vote will matter....they have stolen 1 election and I'm positive have plans in place to steal more.

Non-existent customer service...do your research before you purchase. Example: are consumable parts like extractors and slide stops available from SAR USA?

Dealt with their Customer Service twice, by phone and email. It was on point and fast so not sure why you'd spew lies. Or may be I know why!

SAR has great customer service. I had a question and called them and they picked right up. They even sent me a follow-up email about my question.

Uses Tanfoglio parts, as it's a tanfo clone more than it is a cz clone. Should have no issue finding them.

What a fantastic shooter for $650. Mine's had perfect reliability so far. It needed some polishing on the hammer, and I added a lighter patriot defense trigger return spring. The stock sights kind of suck, but the EGW EAA Super Sight optics mounts fit it. That's a Leupold DPP on mine. Also I'm running the 19 round mecgar mags -- I removed a bit of plastic from the top corners of the base plates to make them fit into the magwell. Fantastic gun. Thank you Sarsilmaz!

I just ordered one as a xmax gift to myself. I heard the YT reviews about it comparing to Shadow 2 which really just made me think this is such a rare find. I can't name another hammer fired SAO gun at this price range with a steel frame coming with two high cap mags. Get it while you can

These are not clones, but CZ in appearance only. A lot of people still get it wrong. Tanfo started them up to avoid patent and copyright laws and Czechoslovakia was Combloc and couldn't sell the guns to the world. With changing to their original design just enough to avoid the CZ design, they became their own firearm. The only things that carry over are magazines, and a few springs. I have the P8 S model and 6 tanfos, SP01 and Mecgar Witness small frame magazines work just fine in these. The reason they want you to use Sar mags is for the magazine well. All tanfoglio small frame parts will drop in. CZ75 magazines will fit if an appropriate baseplate is used with the magwell. The overall machining is nice, not quite up there with Tanfoglio or CZ.
While the triggers are not as good as the CZ or Tanfos, they can be changed and worked on just as easy. The only problem for aftermarket support is the front sight. It's not quite Cz, and not Tanfo. I have yet to hear from SarUSA on front sight interchangeability. 75 grips may or may not work, this is a hit or miss. The issue comes down to the depth of a particular grip. I'd look at LoK grips and try the inserts to avoid any fitment issue.

It's a knockoff of a Tanfoglio, which is itself a CZ75 clone. The trigger is great my most standards but not up to Tanfoglios or CZ Shadows that are around 2.5-3lb triggers, the K12 feels like around 5lbs. Stock photo isn't correct, will be more dark grey in color on grips the frame is matte finish. The CZ75 baseplates interfere with the funnel but you can use aftermarket baseplates or the Mec-gar 19rd mag for Cz75s. While the K12 is a solid gun, the Tanfoglio Elite Match ($780) is a lot better gun and mags are only $20 and easy to find.

I have one. Runs like a champ. For those wondering about mags - replace the stock base pads on mecgar CZ75 mags with the Taylor Freelance +5s. You get more rounds and way better availability. Net more expensive than buying the Sar mags, but you can find CZ mags _everywhere_

I emailed both SAR and mec gar to see if these would take cz75b mags or some other mec gar mag. It does not. The propritary SAR mag is $40. I was seriously considering it but 5 extra mags is $200.

It does take the MecGar 19 round mags by modifying the base plate. The MecGar mags are actually 17 round tubes almost identical to the SAR mags, but they have plastic +2 baseplates. You can also remove the mag well and they fit without modification. Any of the 17+ round CZ75 mags with metal baseplates will fit. Source: my two Mec Gar 19 round mags that run flawlessly in my K12.

Sure a slick, super custom build look to these. Seems at first glance to be alot of pistol for the money. I'm not one to hate on imports and or knock off designs, AS long as they are good quality and of course run like a champ. This gun is definitely one that gets the ole credit card fingers twitchy ..haha. I actually like the darker grips anyhow so that's fine by me. If it shoots like it looks, this should be a win win.

Be aware these are a turkish rip off of a CZ 75 and a CZ TacSport.
The grips look very close to the same and it's remotely possible the magazines might work.
It's worth looking into closer. If you could find a set of CZ75 grip panels on a shelf at your local gun store......ask if you can try them ?

I don’t think the mags are compatible with the regular CZ75 mags. Which is a shame because I have a ton of them.

Be aware that the picture of this gun is a stock photo from the manufacturer. The grip panels of what you will receive are going to be gray.

I like it a lot. Not a ton of aftermarket support but it runs like a champ on all 9mm loads I tried and it was definitely more accurate than me. Only downside was one of the grip screws was glued in, not loctite, straight up glue and trying to get it out i boogered my grip a little and the importer said they have no plans of selling grips.

I reached out to SARUSA. They are going to be launching a website for aftermarket support. It will be their products they are going to be selling but I’m cool with that.
