Great price and I’m long for a long range rifle in 6.5 creedmoor. Still leaning towards a Bergara B14 HMR for the money

I have a stealth and rpr. Stealth shoots accurate, rpr is back in New Hampshire major quality control issues but what do you expect for $1k? Notice how everyone suddenly has these in stock? Production is up, quality control down. Go read the thread about how an entire batch of these had crooked receivers causing major problems. Mine grouped like a shotgun at 100 yards. even if ruger refurbished it should I be happy paying full price for a refurb? Roll the dice maybe you'll don better than me

I couldn't agree more Frrubi.. Have one in 308 and a friend grabbed one in 243 before Ruger discontinued it. Amazing Rifles !

Best rifle in its class; the RPR is unmatched in its price point. A mile out of the box by even the most novice shooters!

I have a Savage Stealth in 6.5 that I would put up against a RPR. Not sure about unmatched and I paid $758 brand new.

I've got the savage in 6.5 and the rpr in 6.5, both are decent rifles. The Ruger is a better rifle all round, better trigger and smoother action. I've got 2 bolt action savage rifles and the action is sloppy, they are pretty cheaply built but still get the job done. The rpr looks better than the savage also.

I have both as well because I am a big fan of the 6.5. I like both but the Ruger wins the day for me as well. I think it is just a better rifle.

I have 2 Savage 10s (Stealth and FCP-SR) both in 6.5. The actions are not sloppy at all. Both have accutriggers that are set just perfect. Also, the Stealth chassis is nice because you can get your scope closer to the bore axis.
