I just did it, and it worked.

It states very plainly & I quote "Coupon/Promo Code: Not available with Ruger Firearms". Don't people know how to read?

1 vote
0 votes

Can't you read? It clearly states that you apply coupon on the final page. Anyone that frequents this site knows that's how you get around it. Same with Vortex and others. But you can apply codes on final page/

On-Topic comment: If you can navigate the ever-changing discount codes, etc. Brownells has the best deals going on the PCC. I just got one from them and love it so far. You have to figure out the precise place & moment to apply the discount code...like jumping into hyperspace...but worth the momentary frustration.

Off-Topic: OK, I know, necroposting, but OMF god of Buffoonery, can you guys at least try to stay somewhere near the subject of firearms? Just because this site is on the internet doesn't mean it's the place to air your SJW/political squabbles. I'm out. Standing by for childish retorts.

There is a difference between a cake celebrating a gay wedding, and a cake for certain people. I'm sure they would've just sold them a regular cake. In a state, by the way, which didn't even give marriage licenses to gay people yet!

And I'm sure they wouldn't do a stripper party either....

Cake is gay. Fabulously gay.

No, there is not. Same cake. They just put two men or two women on it. No dicks, assholes, or pussies involved. So you are also saying that having a gay wedding cake in this state is against the law, right? No, didn't think it was. They have one job in life. To sell other people cakes and pastries. They can't even do that right. Well, we will see how much cash it will cost them for their 'choice'. Where in the Bible does it say that you can't serve a certain group of people? As I have said before, everyone sins. EVERYONE. So they can't serve a cake for a baby shower if the mother is not married? What about making a cake for a couple that is not married. That against their religion as well?

Why I’m waiting for the magpul treatment;)

You see, the difference is, when a company chooses to boycott guns, we simply say we don't want to give them out money anymore. When a bakery refuses to bake a gay cake, they get taken to court so daddy government can punish them for you. So yes, there's a difference.

2 votes
0 votes

I was talking about your / public reaction not court action. Wow, did you hear the point fly over your head?

Are you really pretending the gun lobby isn't going to invoke "daddy government" against BOA? Who knows if they will win or lose but I am willing to take bets that Wayne LaPierre will compare the fight to Rosa Parks's bus ride.

BTW, the cake maker also asked "daddy government" for it's mighty protection....but you only remember half the story?

What is a 'gay cake'? Did it have dicks and assholes all over it? Or just figures of two men? Was it the cake in question, or did they not want to sell to a gay couple? Do they also refuse to bake the cakes the strippers pop out of for bachelor parties? What about a birthday cake for a felon? Child molester? A Jewish couple? If I am not a Christian, do they refuse to sell me a cake because I am a sinner? Even though I am marrying a woman? Hell, I don't refuse to move freight because of what is in the trailer or who the freight is for. Their job is to bake cakes. Not to judge. That is Gods job. If I refused to ship their cake supplies because they are Christian, I am sure they would be pretty pissed off and would be suing me as well. Last time I checked, everyone was a sinner. Not just gay people.

But as far as the company...they chose not to sell whatever to whoever. They can decide to not sell guns altogether. WE have the choice to tell them to go F themselves and take our business elsewhere. Just like the gay couple has that choice. If the Government allows companies to choose who or who not to sell to, then companies might choose NOT to sell to blacks. Or women. Or whites. Or gays. Or because of your political view (that is very popular since Trump kicked Hill-dogs ass!).

For an ugly 9mm rifle, I'd probably just stick with a hi-point, $300

Well they are completely different styles and one takes down and accepts multiple magazine types. That's like comparing the price of an electric screwdriver to a drill driver.

That is my opinion as well. Nothing against Ruger. I have a Ruger LCP2, a Ruger .450 Bushmaster, and sold an LCP2 and an LC9S. All were/are great guns. But my HP 9mm has worked flawlessly for over 20 years. Just shot it last night. Plus you can get it in 45 and 10mm (if you can find one).

This is the update (in quotations) I received today from Brownells on my order of the PC-9.
I have never had Brownells cancel a back order and hope they don't make this one the 1st for me.

"We are showing your back order for the 100-026-652MB RUGER PC CARBINE 9MM 16.12 1/2-28 BLK on order 15659837.01. Unfortunately at this time we are not able to give you a estimated date to arrive from Ruger. With a high demand, the factory is delayed in getting these orders filled and shipped to the distributors.
Karen"

I would assume it can take mags as small as the Glock 26 given the size of the mag well.

In case you have not heard, Bank of America will stop financing manufacturers of 'military-style' guns. Even if it is a perfectly legal and legit company. What do they mean by 'Military-style'? Who knows. AR15? 1911? Semi-auto rifle? But if they look in my gun closet, they would probably find a few. We no longer have a BOA credit card because we had trouble with them and went exclusively to Discover. But our two home loans were bought by them years ago. Well, F them. I just today paid off our second mortgage years ahead of schedule. They will no longer be using that 7.25% interest for their anti-gun agenda. Now to start working on the primary loan. Please share this with as many of your gun rights and 2nd amendment lovers as you can.

They must have drunk some of CNN's anti-gun kool-aid. I'm with you Chief, this crap is getting way out of control. I think it is only a matter of time before idiot uninformed voters, illegal aliens, and "FREE SHIT LOVERS" elect a Democrat President. Then everything going to get really stupid.

How cute, when it's Hobby Lobby, Chick-fil-A, or some random cake shop it's all fun, games, and exercising "rights" but when a corporation (they're "people too" right?) takes a stance that might affect you then it is suddenly a problem.

I agree. And when will they start blocking your CC from those 'HORRIBLE GUN COMPANIES' for purchases? Today's world really sucks...

Mfr Part: 19100

This is the model number you select if you want to buy this rifle and live in a free state that doesn't have 10 round mag restrictions or no thread restrictions.

When I bought mine they had the option of the state compliant and non state compliant. You are correct about the state compliant model however the non state-compliant has the threaded muzzle and comes with a 17 round magazine.

0 votes

Careful. This is some kind of bullshit police-state compliant model with a NON-THREADED MUZZLE.

No can, no care.

Pass.

That is only the 10 round model...the 17 is threaded.
