Same price at Smoky Mountain Guns and Ammo with free shipping. Mine came with a real nice quality zippered gun case with SMGA on it, It was not advertised as coming with one so it must be an additional perk they offer. Shipped next day and received a couple days later. Great company and better deal than PSA. https://www.smga.com/p-65514-ruger-3701-lcp-standard-380-acp-275-61-blk-gripframe-blued-wcase.aspx?utm_source=SMGA.com&utm_campaign=5433834920-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2018_08_21_08_42&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_fd07762208-5433834920-360208485...

I don't know why anyone would want this version when the LCP II is available for $25 more from Combat Armory. The trigger on this one is sub par.

For concealed carry I like the original LCP trigger better than the LCP II as it isn't as light and is less likely to have a negligent discharge while pocket carrying. But then again, I'm a big revolver guy so am used to a heavy trigger.

I just bought the LCP II from Combat Armory for $195. It's my first 380. Got tired of trying to carry a 9mm in the Florida summers where shorts and tee-shirts are the official dress code. I love the little gun. It came with a pocket holster, and for the first time since I had my CCP, I've found myself carrying at all times. I even took it to church today and even forgot it was in my pocket. I love my M&P Shield and Glock 26 but concealing them takes some effort in the summertime. With this, I just pop the holstered gun in my pocket, and I'm off. The trigger is covered so I'm not worried about snagging the trigger. With some practice, you can draw the gun from your pocket without pulling the holster out. My son has had the original LCP for years and has nothing but good things to say about it. I just figured for about $30 more, I could have the next gen. The only issue I'm realizing is that finding .380 ammo is not like procuring 9mm. It's hard to find rounds for less than .30 while you can buy 9mm for .18 all day long. I still think it's worth it because the gun you have with you always beats the gun you left at home.

You guys are nuts. I carry a Glock 19 or FNS-9 in shorts and a t shirt every day.

From Florida myself and know EXACTLY what you mean. Been eyeing the LCP2 for a while for that exact same reason

Decent little pistol. Fairly accurate considering its size. Recoil is a bit much though since it is so light. I've only fed a couple hundred rounds through mine but most were cheap reloads and have had no issues. Gun is not designed for more than 10 or so rounds of +P at a time per Ruger

When you order online, you have a firearm shipped to an FFL, a Federal Firearms Licensed-individual that the website has on record. If it’s a new FFL that the site hasn’t dealt with, the FFL needs to send the website their info before shipping.

Once the FFL takes delivery, you’ll be able to pick up the gun from them after filling out the paperwork; this involves the instant background check and usually a fee of $10-$35 as payment, depending on the type of gun and your particular FFL.

This varies of course depending on the site, FFL, and State you reside in.

Ripoff/Scam. Don't take a chance.

Their FB page has been deleted. Address belongs to a different business. No one answers the phone & no Voicemail. The owner deleted his own account on FB and created a new one...guess he got found out. Sound like someone you want to do business with? Not me.

Check out their BBB rating in New York. Hint, it's an F.

beware.. this place will rip you off. they ripped me off..
i had to issue a charge-back with my CC company to get my money back.
google their name, read the reviews they are horrible.
they are not a member of the BBB but still have a F with them...
if you order from them you are rolling the dice.. and you will get ripped off sooner or later..

I've bought from them 3 times, Guns arrived fine, but they are slow as hell that is for sure.

I don't mind slow. I do mind no communication. When I spend $500 I expect a response to an email, chat, phone call or FB message. He seems to be making a living on restocking fees.

I bought one. It's not nearly as secure as I thought. The exterior is not great. It slides out of my pocket!

Bought this gun when it first came out and got an exceptional deal from a dealer who just broke even on it. He sold it only to undercut a smaller gun store, "he is the largest dealer/ranges, in the state, and I paid $259 back then, like 7+ yrs ago. So this is cheap, very cheap. The price came way down on these from when they were first released to totally knock out the Seacamp, which was going for a thousand + dollars, a decade, "to 15yrs ago", so this is a score considering guys who have been shooting and carrying BUGS for many decades paid close to $400.00 for these guns when they came out.
Many a new person to the sport, is reaping the rewards of much lower prices than we ever thought we would see. You weren't able to touch a decent 1911 for under a thousand dollars, "before the work went in to make it run right". So please be happy you are in a world where Glocks are $150 dollars less than 20 years ago, When a 23 went for $650, and an AR was $1000-2000 because nothing else I use went down.

Forget the shipping, the price of 380 ammo is what kills this deal! I'd get an LC9 LONG before getting the 380 version...but I believe in shooting 800-1000 round in a carry piece prior to putting it into the rotation. And with the cost of 380 ammunition, that's WAY more cash than the initial purchase of the weapon.

shipping kills this deal. $17.00 is high. I ordered 4 different pistols shipping was 68.00

3 votes

You're nuts. $217 is still WAY under what you can get this gun anywhere else. I think you just have a hard-on against Palmetto State Armory for some reason because you keep posting this same comment on all their deals that show up here.

2 votes
0 votes

I posted my comment on TWO deals today, and thats it. do you not understand that if I want to purchase this pistol and 3 other models they charge as if they are shipping them all seperately? I have ordered from them before, and will again. but $17.00 for EACH item is ridiculous. KY gun co has them 209.00 shipped. and I can get all my guns from them shipped free.

1 vote
2 votes

Seven dollars difference, on a gun, and it's a deal breaker? Plus KY Gun Co charges 3% to use a credit card which puts your final price within pennies difference. And KY Gun Co doesn't even have it in stock. So where's the better deal?

2 votes
0 votes

KY gun co by far. I keep telling you, I wanted to place an order for 4 different guns. NOT ALL LCPs. you go ahead and pay $68.00 shipping for 4 guns, I don't have a problem sending a MO or check to KYGC. I buy too many guns not to count pennies. 7 dollars difference a big deal? you bet. thats what this site is for. the best deals. i'll pay BOTTOM DOLLAR EVERY TIME.

With the recent rash of $200 Ruger LCPs, which used to hover around $300, is Ruger getting rid of inventory for a new 380 debut?

0 votes
0 votes

Yes, great little gun, I got a helluva deal on my lcp last month at a local store (rural king) due to what I believe was a pricing error. I got the model with the lasermax installed for $219 plus tax. (the lcp no laser was priced 10 bucks higher). I didn't care about having the laser so I sold it for 100 bucks. Essentially got the gun for $119 bucks + tax. Very happy with it thus far
