Rugged construction with through-hardened steel slide and black, one-piece, high-performance, glass-filled nylon grip frame.
Textured grip frame provides a secure and comfortable grip. Larger grip frame surface provides better distribution of recoil forces.
Includes finger grip extension floorplate that can be added to the magazine for comfort and grip.
Improved sights for superior visibility. Fixed front and rear sights are integral to the slide, while the hammer is recessed within the slide.
Easy-to-rack slide designed to hold open after last round ejection.
Blued, alloy steel barrel.
Also includes a pocket holster and one 6-round magazine.

I like the looks of the 2nd generation models way more than the original....Wonder how they are in comparison?
It seems they made a larger gun that won't hold more than 6 rounds, which seems stupid, now that just about everyone wants a second mag with a 7-9 round capacity either as a reload or primary sometimes. I know I am thrilled with my 8 round custom, and it is track proven and works every time. This is a step backwards.
The pre-cocked hammer operation similar to the Walther PPX is a cool idea to get a striker- like trigger pull. It isn't much smaller than a G42 in size & both have 6+1 capacity. No sight upgrades either & takedown isn't as simple as the Glock. Nice try Ruger, now get to work on the LCRx 357 everyone really wants...
