Sent mine back for ejection problems with range ammo. They replaced the slide and other bits. They then reported running 3 kinds of ammo each through every magazine I sent.
They said the trigger was at 6-1/4lbs. and they wouldn’t lower it. I know that sounds reasonable, but with such a short reach, it affects my accuracy. Friends who haven’t practiced with it find it basically hopeless. That said, I haven’t found a better 380 so it stays.
It shouldn’t have happened, but that’s a ton of labor and materials, plus they covered shipping both ways with good turnaround, so I don’t want to complain. I don’t know what to say to someone who feels (for whatever reason) they need something in this product category to just work.
Ruger's quality control has been disappointing the last few years for me. I've sent back half the guns I purchased. They all came back working well but I'm losing faith in the brand.
Not a deal. $209.00 has been offered multiple times.
I love the LCPII. It's good for deep concealment and as such gets carried more than any of my other pistols. I just drop it in my pocket and go. I must be lucky because I own a half dozen Rugers and I've never had issue with any of them.
