Trigger sits to far forward. Wife can't reach it.

Wish it was the LC9s Pro.

I have one. Trigger in excellent (assuming you don't want a heavy trigger pull on your carry gun). Short crisp pull.

It is snappy - know that. I have a S&W Shield that, whole slightly larger, has less recoil. LC9s conceals better than the shield.

Ruger customer service is second to none.

I like this gun, but the glock 42 is vastly superior. American made guns just don't command the same respect they used to.

I have a Glock 43 with a two extra round extension. I also own a shield with an Apex trigger and Xds. Glock is my EDC backup. I carry a Walther PPQ 45 as my primary. I am thinking about getting this for my wife to carry.

I think you mean the glock 43. I like the glock a lot too, but the lc9s will get the job done. If money isn't an issue I'd go glock but you'll need a special mag to get 6+1, not a big deal but more $$$. I carry an lc9s 90% of the time, g19 the other 10. They're both excellent, just don't buy a 380 by mistake unless that's what you really want

You are comparing apples to oranges. 9mm to 380. I had a Glock 42 and it was a jam-o-matic. Sold it quickly.

Why compare a .380 to a 9mm? If you're talking about the Glock 43, I think you just haven't fired both of them. The trigger on the LC9s is objectively better, and it carries 1 more round than the Glock 43.

Ignore the old comments. This is a great price.

Lookout they charge $3 for insurance and then $16 for shipping. If not for these extra charges, I'd be interested. Anybody know of a better deal in this gun?

This deal is equal to the best price I've seen for a new one. These were $320 + tax 2 years ago and $399 + tax B&M. Today isn't the historic low but the price has not been sweeter so far.

I havent seen a better deal on one, even with the +3 and +16 its under $260 total. I own one, added a couple 9 rd mags, tritium sights and the laser that mounts on the side thru frame pins. Its my IWB carry gun but have to admit I end up pocket carrying my DB9 with no accessories more often because its so light 11oz and small versus the LC9s that is 50% heavier but still lighter than most of its competitors.

The "s" means striker-fired. It's been 25 years, people. Strikers aren't SAO or DAO, they are strikers; There's no hammer.

Correct, and it gives this gun a really sweet trigger! Especially compared to the original LC9 with that really long heavy DAO that was so bad I went with a Keltec PF9 back then that was eventually replaced by the LC9s, and it was all about the trigger.

GOOD DEAL ON MUCH IMPROVED DESIGN. FAST SHIPPING.

This is a really great deal. Throughout the weekend (Nov 24-28), the lowest price on the Ruger LC9s that I saw was $299 (a good deal in itself) and this cuts it by another $25.00 which is the lowest I've ever seen on this particular gun. Also, I own this gun and shoot it regularly- it is great for CC and VERY reliable. Can't go wrong at this price and I am in NO WAY affiliated with the seller.

Why is this still on gun.deals?

They used to price match firearms but not anymore. I agree I love them for lots of things, especially ammo, but don't buy many guns from them as they're rarely even competitive.

Still love SG, though.

I will add Academy sports started price matching guns online plus take another 5% off. Not sure if that's just my local store but they price matched the $254 special on the Savage 93r17 btvss that Sportsman's outdoor superstore had that was sold out in hours. Even showing sold out they matched it. Bought one for my son for Christmas, I am incredibly thankful to them for that!

That is a TERRIBLE price for this gun. It is regularly seen for $300 or less with free shipping. Sorry Sportsman's Guide. You rock on Ammo prices but you are not competitive on gun prices.

$339.98 shipped from Impact Guns. Two good price options, though Impact can be a little slow to ship. Last purchase they took 2 weeks to ship my firearm.
