I don't understand why they never came out with the Lcp 2 trigger on this. Would of stole some of smith and wessons thunder with the 380 Ez.

Ruger keeps the LC380 the same because its on the CA gun roster (basically a gun ban exclusion list), modifying anything about it would get it removed.
But why not an additional model (LC380s?), the LCP fills the role of .380 enough for ruger & they don't want to put in the R&D $ to to develop a larger model to compete with the shield 380 EZ.
