Description
Ruger® SR-Series pistols are perfectly sized to be comfortable and controllable with slim, ergonomic grips and narrow slides. A short reach from the backstrap to the trigger creates a comfort level that will challenge any standard-sized, striker-fired pistol available today. The structurally rigid, recoil-reducing, glass-filled nylon frames and alloy or stainless steel slides combine to create low-maintenance, rugged and reliable handguns

Pulled the trigger on this deal today; $278 incl S&H, with the only differences from the SR9 being fixed sights and no loaded chamber indicator, and a little fit and finish.
Will update once I get it and put a few hundred rounds down range.
It comes only with one mag? Ruger mags are not cheap.
I bought two Ruger mags for $36 delivered a couple of months ago. The 9E is a really nice pistol--couldn't be happier with mine.
Nice price, I ordered one over the weekend as a big brother to my SR9c, which has become my go-to CC over the last 5 years (soft-shooting and runs super-reliably) and I already have 17-round mags that fit the 9E. I was tempted by recent sale prices on the American pistol, but I prefer the SR series, especially since Ruger stupidly made the American pistol incompatible with SR mags.
I had this for about 2 years, put a good 1000 rds through it, and never had an issue. For a cheaper pistol, it was fun and completely reliable. I've since sold it to a friend who is also very happy with it.
