The pattern on the frame reminds me of MW2's "red tiger" camo.
I have the all black standard Ruger 9E and cannot say enough good things about it. The trigger really surprised me, decent reset and easy shooter. Not crazy about this color scheme, but the gun itself is a winner.
Full size or sub compact or small size
I would say full sized. Same length as My Glock 21 (7.5"). If they had it in Digital Navy blue, I would probably be stupid enough to get one even though I have WAY too many pistols already. Good looking gun.

You won't go wrong with a Ruger. The LCP mod 1 sorta sucks, but they fixed it with the C version and Mod 2 (II). Had a Ruger LC9s and it was perfect. Sold it when I bought my 2 Springfield 9mm's but probably should have kept it.
The 9E is a winner, love mine...17 rounds, nice trigger, accurate, good ergonomics. And the magazines fit the excellent Ruger Pistol Caliber Carbine, for combined 9mm bug-out goodness. This frame color scheme is hideous, but at this price you can afford a good can of spray paint or cerakote.
