Ruger SR-Series pistols are perfectly sized to be comfortable and controllable with slim, ergonomic grips and narrow slides. A short reach from the backstrap to the trigger creates a comfort level that will challenge any standard-sized, striker-fired pistol available today. The structurally rigid, recoil-reducing, glass-filled nylon frames and alloy or stainless steel slides combine to create low-maintenance, rugged and reliable handguns

Gonna buy this Friday if still available
Mine has been fantastic for the year or more I've owned mine. If they ever do a compact version I'd buy another.
Bought one recently for same price/ no shipping fee from TSS [I've also had good experience with Sportsman' Outdoor]; great pistol, especially for the money. I've put about 300 through it thus far without a single hiccup. Soft shooting and accurate. It definitely fills the niche for a duty size high capacity 9mm that I will be using in some local 3 guns this Summer.
/several hundred rounds later and not a single malfunction [FTL/FTF/FTE]; including at the 3 gun shoot I used it in today.
Great American made quality handgun at budget friendly value.
Scr3w Hilliary. Call me deplorable and irredeemable but I am in 4 one as the reviews on this gun are excellent, I really like the looks and the price is superslick.
Update: Had some range time. My new 2nd favorite handgun, just behind my 1911. Now for a deal on 17rnd mags
Best under $300 gun out there. I would buy one, but Hillary would take it after the election.
Maybe you'll go down that easy, but Killary isn't taking my guns. If any government thugs show up to try to violate my Constitutional rights, they'll get the bullets first.
From my cold dead hands... MOLON LABE
Needed to add a Ruger to my collection... Under $300, can't find a reason not to. Sold!
This is a very nice pistol at any price. At under $300 it's a fantastic value. I've only had mine for a couple of months, but I'm happy with it. Yes, you'll have to buy a magazine. I'm watching for sales on that. If none go on sale, they're $57 for a two-pack directly from Ruger.
This really is a GREAT deal! Get it now!
This is an example of the Sportsmansoutdoorsuperstore good prices, no credit card fees, fast free shipping. I picked up my new pistol on momma's birthday now I am going to purchase one for my birthday!
The 9E is a winner. It's a very nice pistol at a fantastic price. I couldn't be happier with mine.
But now it is after Christmas. Last month the PK380 was $285 at KY Gun Co, this month it is $370. Can't really compare pre-Christmas sale prices to today's price.
Have to confess, I love my Ruger 9E. I like it better than my SR9C version. Sure, you only get one mag., but you can get a two pack of magazines for $35 if you keep an eye out for sales. This is a super high quality handgun and is American made with Ruger's no questions asked honor of a warranty based on a hand shake. It is all at bargain prices too!!!
I've taken a beating from my fellow countrymen on this site who for some unknown reason have fallen in love with foreign made bargain guns, including guns of Turkish origins. I cannot explain why they are so enthralled with these guns, particularly Turkish knockoffs of European makes. The Ruger is far better value. It has a great trigger, superior quality and high reliability, all with a U.S. based manufacturer standing behind their product. Oh yeah, Americans are being employed making these too... I like that a lot! Buy one. You won't regret it!
Looks like it is in stock now... Wish I didn't already own two of these types. I spent $400 for my SR9C and I really like my 9E better anyway. Might buy another because I can and it's a hell of a deal...
I got pack of 2 mags for 45(grabagun.com),so its still a good reliable and cheaper option with one extra mag than sr9.
One mag only? Ruger mags aren't cheap for this gun.
What the hell it was 130$ just the other day now it's bumped up almost 300$ that's ridiculous.
