Belmished horrible lower...
Recently ordered one of these lowers after seeing them posted online. Purchased on November 23, 2016 showing items in stock, then get notified it is back ordered. Finally get a call from my FFL today (December 10, 2016) that the lower has arrived and I can come pick it up. Upon review of the lower, noticed the lower looks horrible. Some areas the anodizing was so thin you could see the ram aluminum thru it. Also, the engraving on the side showing the AR-5.56 had letters missing where the engraving didn't go deep enough to even print into the aluminum. No where on this website did it mentioned these were blemishe'd lowers.....and believe me.....they are horribly blemished. I have purchased other blemished lowers and uppers from other companies and most of the time cannot find the blemish. These lowers look HORRIBLE......and not worth a 1/3 of the price they are listed at. I wouldnt pay $20.00 for one of these.
Called Sportsman Guides customers service and my FFL will be returning it once a RMA is sent. I asked customer service if they review and check these prior to shipping, to make sure they arent blemished and she said no.....they just pull off the shelf and ship. Now waiting on a full refund.
Worst manufacturered lower I have ever seen.
Sounds like Ruger reject lowers, or you were just unlucky.
