The dumbest thing Glock ever DIDN'T DO was build one in this caliber!

Think what you want about this. Sell like hot cakes, as long as it's reliable.

Some say it’s a glorified .22 magnum, some say it’s an AR15 handgun, some say it will penetrate body armor, some say it won’t. I get the law enforcement discount from Glock. I own one Glock out of twenty handguns it’s a very good gun but I like others better. But for the money I believe the best powerful handgun is the Glock 20. Fifteen rounds of 10mm for $464.00 LE price.

Love the comments but no one noticed the price here is wrong? May get one at $499. Not until. Appears to come with one mag. Gonna get some hate for this but really a glorified 22 mag. Check the tests on it. All that going through body armor came from Hollywood! I did like the Hitlist though where one was used!

Already dropped to 679 from 749 less than 2 weeks after announcement. Stay strong folks, they'll hit that magic number 500 soon enough.

It appears the LEO price is $579.99. It's available for pre order at GT Distributors. They also show the commercial price being $619.99. In case anyone is interested.

I looked but last time I checked, between tax and shipping, their stuff wasn’t a lot different than most places

Yeah, I have waited a long time on buying a FN, mostly because I hated the safety on it, another because I was not sure I would like the caliber and didn't want to drop $1100 on a handgun. I am a buyer on this Ruger as soon as i can buy one at $550, i figure within a year at most. Hopefully they will have an extended mag for it.

How do you get the LE discount on Ruger?

Apparently you didn't pay for an education given your spelling and lack of punctuation...

I wasted 30 thousand on an education and who gives a f*^* about spelling and punctuation?

Why is this price more than the manufacturers $699 MSRP? Let them hang onto it until they decide to get competitive.

$799 MSRP FYI. Not that I'd pay either price. Will be $550 in a month or two.

Competitive with what? It's not like theres dozens of 5.7 pistols on the market and the ruger is already $500 less than the more poorly built FN.....

Care to expand on your Dumbass comment “more poorly built FN?”

You can buy the FN57 for $965 with a free $75 dollar light. That would put the FN at roughly $900. At $740, this is $160 less than the FN57. This is a terrible value.

You'll be able to get the ruger for well under 740 if you wait a bit for them to filter through the dealers.

Exactly. In 6 months- right around Memorial Day - these will be on sale everywhere for $499.This will be a HOT item and as Ruger amortizes its research, planning and production costs - which are always built-in to the initial MSRP - they will be able to produce this much less expensively and we'll be able to buy at at significantly less than the introductory price of $699.So unless you absolutely have to have this now, just wait a little and you'll be happy you did.

Seven months later and prices are still going up. F Covid and F the Marxist social movement. Vote Trump 2020. Dementia Joe and Beta Male O’rouke will make these over a 1k if he gets elected
