those complaining about the ammo AND owning 5.56s should get a cheap press and dies. It takes regular, cheap .224 bullets, sr?or sp primers.

You find 30 grain .224 bullets and I'll load them for you all day long.
Oh wait.....you can't.

there are tons of hornady 30 grain in my town!

I'm pretty sure with that much loaded length I can put 55gr ss109s in them.

Only as a subsonic load.
You know, about 1000 fps ?
Probably good out to maybe 50 yards since the bullets BC will suck at that slow of a speed.

I feel like they should have priced it at 572.80. I mean, wth? Get with the program.

Staring at my FiveseveN like ..."he needs a friendly companion..." Love my FN but i held this...its nice to see metal on it lol

Finding these in Michigan at stores for under $500. Almost would get one if I didn't have the FiveSeven. Ruger always makes their money on magazine. 10 mags cost more that the gun

I would also like to know, I would buy one asap for under $500

What stores and what cities in Michigan are you finding these new for under $500?

$499 and I'll take one.

Nobody wants to buy these things cause it’s nearly impossible to find 100 rounds of 5.7 without paying a arm and a leg for it lol

Was Thinking of getting one but hesitant about the caliber, but mainly about the high capacity magazines getting banned with the anti gun anti second amendment UFO pilot in charge.

Price wise could we say this is what we saw pre-pandemic? Best price locally for me is $699.

I have one, bought last summer. It's a great shooting gun. Plus I have lots of the 5.7 ammo :)

This gun is silly and ammo is unobtanium.

These have been the only pistols to have dropped in price it seems...

IMHO Kel-Tec are one ugly piece of work, WTF is with all the screws holding it together, almost as dam ugly as WooHoon Kung Flu. 8-)) HR127

Fatboy - China Schmo says you only need to shoot 2 rounds from a shotgun off your balcony so what good is 50 rounds gonna do if you can’t own one if the swipe of the pen outlaws them? —- 8-))

Can't outlaw them if you already own them!

0 votes

Trump is the only president to ever outlaw any gun related item with "the swipe of the pen."

Not sure why you are worried, there is no doubt your local mental health officials have already red-flagged you.

I guess this was another selective knowledge comment from PooSpew (or just flat out lack of knowledge, more likely).
Forgot about that damn assault weapon ban didnt ya ?
Funny how democrappers always forget about the things they've done.
Do they call it a Hillary Hole for no reason ?

Grandpa Hoe doesn't recall the generals advising him to keep some thousands of troops behind. No recollection. How convenient. Democrappers

Price is dropping because the Kel-Tec p50, 50 round 5.7 is coming out in a week or so..

Odd because the PS90's price didn't drop. Just because S&W releases a new 9MM that does not mean the Glock 17, 19, 26, 34, 43, 45 etc drop in price the week before. Moreover, the Ruger 57 and P50 aren't even in the same category, even if they use the same caliber. Do you think the P50 could be concealed or is fitting for everyday carry like the Ruger 57 is? Your comparison is like 'Honda came out with a new sedan which caused Ford F-250's price to drop....they both use gas."

Plus, if you knew anything about KelTec launches, the P50 (which looks AWESOME once someone comes up with a brace) will be selling WAY OVER MSRP until production finally meets demands, which will be several years from now, only after they be comparable in price. It will never be a direct competitor to the Ruger 57 though.

FN prices never drop! And that carbine (ps90) has always been tough to get ahold of.

The PS90 did drop down to $999-$1099 for about 6 months a few years ago and the mags were $15-$20.....I didn't buy one then and will forever regret it.

This is just a passing fad like the 40cal, but if ya want it get em while ya can before Bejing B. outlaws em.

I’m sure that this and the .40 will be back in style during the next global pandemic when 9mm ammo is sold out again everywhere.

Beijing? LOL, isn't that where you-know-who paid taxes as opposed to in the USA?

Gotta love these lower pricing under Biden....I guess the whole fear of civil war disappeared when all the not so proud nancy's $hit on their own dinning table.

BTW, did you really upvote yourself?

Been waiting for the price to go down from $650 to match it with my FN PS90 SBR, Now is the time for me, I just grab one. I got 1000 round of 5.7, I hope it last.

Can't find the ammo unfortunately

My thoughts exactly. Good price for this gun, but if you can't find ammo or it's just stupidly priced it doesn't make any sense to buy it.

Somebody tell me why Kel Tec has not made a 5.7x28 CMR 30?? I know this is the wrong place to ask... but I just want it to happen so i'm going to start spreading rumors around the internet everywhere I can.

3 votes

Yes, I'm a Ruger fan....but even still, why would anyone want a KelTec over a Ruger?

1 vote
0 votes

It would cost half the price....well, after they scaled production to meet demand. The first year of any Keltec (unique) offering is always well OVER msrp.
