I ordered this revolver a few months back. This is a good price. While I was waiting for it to ship I did some research on the pistol. I'm glad I did. Turns out the 7 round cylinder is kind of thin and certain type's of ammo overlap in the the cylinder making unable to close. The issue is well known, there's more than a few videos on youtube.

Unwilling to deal with such nonsense I called and cancelled my order. I instead went with the 2.5" Wiley Clapp version of the SP101.

7 rounds is cool but not if you have to go through ammo that doesnt fit to find out what does. Besides, if you can't kill it with 5 rounds of .357, 2 more probably won't help!

Have the 4.2" gp 100. Changed the front sight (necessary) with tru glow snap in. Snub nose, not, short barrel, yes. Sp 101 may be what your looking for. Medium size revolver. GP 100 is large frame revolver plus I'm not aware of snub nose in this model. Thought the short barrel of this pistol is 3". If your looking for a large frame revolver, then the GP 100 should satisfy you. Heavy, accurate, great in hand functioning pistol that is fun to shoot with the heaviest of loads. Grab a gun has Aquila 158 grain soft points for under $20 a box of 50. As far as i know, harder hitting 357 known. Someone tell me diff, because im listening!

I'm really digging this GP snubby but I wonder just how much 357 power you're getting with that 2.5 inch barrel?
