Excellent price on this model 1168!
No barrel band / fiber optic sight's.
Unfortunately, (for me), it's a Compact, which isn't what I'm looking for,,,
i picked up this exact rifle yesterday at Academy for $199 plus tax.
I posted this deal to help other parents purchase their child's first .22 rifle. A couple of days after putting one in layaway I posted this deal and they sold out. Now they don't have mine, blaming it on a computer error. In the 3rd millennium it doesn't take two days for an astute businessman to discover a computer error.
Mike, the guy with whom I spoke and likely the owner, was not understanding or friendly. He didn't even offer me a deal toward something else. Suspicions are usually true; if it looks like a scam and sounds like a scam it is probably a scam.
Georgia Arms should be listed amongst those stores with, in the least, questionable practices. I am sorry to have ever dealt with Georgia Arms, and very sorry for the troubles my sharing their deal has caused
