That’s a great price for a solid gun too bad I didn’t see it last week when I ordered one

Picked mine up last weekend. Cabela’s experience was great, had it site to store in 2 days. The gun, not so much. Action felt like dragging a shovel down a dirt road. I pulled it out of the stock and the takedown pin, buffer, and a trigger pin all fell out in my hand. Pull it apart and it was full of what appeared to be sandblasting media. Cleaned it, and put it back together and it shoots, but about 2 inches at 25 yards with several types of premium ammo. This is my 3rd Ruger in the last 2 years that came in below expectation, I think I’m done. Fool me once, shame on them, fool me twice shame on them, fool me 3 times and it turns out I’m retarded.

Ruger seems to be going the way of Colt and resting on their past reputation for quality. Even the GP100 and SP101 models aren't made as well as in prior years. You can clean them up and make them nice and smooth if you know what you're doing, but you shouldn't have to do that to a NIB firearm.
