Is this a flash can or a marketing tool?
Why would you want this large logo on your gun?
In my opinion that large logo ruins the visual appearance of the product.
Just like the good looking guns that are ruined by the huge logos and warnings.

I have built two 5.56 7" barreled AR pistols with these. Same barrel manufacturer. One was over-gassed and the other was not. Having this style on or off made no difference in ejection patterns. That is, I noticed NO extra back pressure. The KX3 and KX5 from Noveske and other types with an actual chamber, meaning ones that are multi-piece, not one piece. Do induce more back pressure into the system. Adjustable gas blocks are the best route to go with over-gassed AR's. Some will add heavier buffers, which can work, but is a crutch at best. Syrac and SLR Rifleworx are the best gas blocks. Cheaper ones work but the set screws that adjust the system can and DO come loose.

On pistols and short barreled rifles it directs more of the flash and noise away from the shooter. It also adds pressure at the gas port and not all AR's like them. I had one on an AR 7.5in pistol and it blew alot more gas back in my face and cycled harder. It did however work as far as directing the blast away and noticably reduced the noise away.

Ah ok! Thanks for the information that helps a lot. In regard to the cycling, my AR runs 7.62x39, and cycles hard as is, so I'm a bit worried this could create some issues

Can someone explain the advantage of something like this vs a 3 pronged flash hider? I have no experience with flash cans = /
