I see that price just jumped. Was $499 a week or so ago.

My first R92 had a barrel that wasn’t indexed properly so the sights were not at 12 o’clock. Seven moths later Rossi sends a replacement, and it has a cracked forend, and broken off forend band screw that ruined the handguard/band/screw.

And the 3rd one ?

Rossi of course would not send or sell me parts, so I had to spend $200 on a Boyd’s stock set and a used forend band from EBay.

When you post a link to a guy using coke cans as shims.....well, credibility out the door.
First off, you can buy precision tool steel shim stock for dirt cheap.
Secondly, shimming something inside a weapon, well, unless it's so old you can't get parts for it, it should not be done.
Also note, the shims were not held in place, they floated under the trigger spring so they could move around changing everything without a person being able to tell without a weapon teardown.
At that point I KNEW this guy was full of so much shit I closed the spewtube window.
DO NOT follow that asshats directions.

What are y'all talking about, I must have missed something? I just recommended this rifle to my buddy.

There are some qc issues with action. Not as smooth as I was expecting out of a lever, but should have on a Rossi. I'd describe it as chuncky, and it would bind up in both directions if you weren't giving the lever some substantial force. I think it can be a decent rifle, just maybe not out of the box.

You are absolutely right what an asshat these are the folks that give gun owners a bad rep, the rifle I purchased wasn't bad but by no means was it perfect action was gritty and hard to cycle in the begining took it down a bit of polishing here and there, now she cycles smoothly and is more accurate than I am

Same here with the bad cycling, had to charge very aggressively to get anything to eject or chamber.
