What you want to do, is, get yourself a nice forward cheek weld on that stock. Maybe choke back a bit with your forward grip, right around the cylinder gap. Good times!

I bought the stainless steel version. The stock cracked after the third round. Job.

I got the stainless steel version about two weeks ago also. I put 25 rounds of 410 slugs through it with no problems. I still cannot find the blemish on the rifle.

How do you know how banged up it is? I emailed them last time with no response.

I got one of the Blem Rossi 45/70 rifles from them a while back and it was banged up a good bit, had nicks, scrapes and dings on both wood and metal. I was ok with that but after I got it home, I found that it wouldn't feed rounds (not even one) and then the lever and bolt locked open. I sent KyGunCo an email, they let me send it back and sent a refund check. Lessons learned: KyGunCo GOOD, Rossi BAD. I'll still use KyGunCo whenever I can but I don't see myself ever buying another Rossi.

Kentucky Gun Co. is pretty good to buy from. Clicking on the listing link gets you the following info: "Please Note This is a manufacturer blemish gun and may have cosmetic defects. If you are not happy with the blemished firearm please refuse the transfer and give us a call so we can have the firearm returned and a full refund!"
