This is about normal price for this trigger. There was a time when this trigger was a viable and frequently chosen 2 stage trigger. Now there is so much competition in the market that this no longer is a price per performance valued option. As stated above, the Larue MBT is far superior and makes this trigger obsolete. Giesselle G2S is often available around $120, and also worth the price premium over this RRA 2 stage.
Problem is not that this is a bad trigger. It would be a great improvement over a stock trigger. Problem is there are triggers much better than this one for the same price or slightly more.
Decent 2-stage trigger for the price. I liked it until I picked up a Larue MBT (on sale for $99!). No comparison IMO.
I wanted to post because I don't like that the RRA trigger pins are oversized on purpose to make a tight fit. I understand why, but this makes the installation a bit scary having to drive the pins in with a punch. And now that they are in, well, I don't think it would be good idea to remove them to clean or try a different trigger.
Click on the two links below for info on the LaRue MBT-S2 curved, and straight bow triggers. Both cost less than this RR trigger, and are loved, and praised by a huge segment of knowledgeable AR shooters. Take the time to read a few of the 3300 reviews that have been posted by the people that use them.
