My guess is precision and quality control is what your paying for. I know that that is the case for LMT and LWRC. The last thing you want to have is out of spec parts when it counts.

WTF, throw a brace on it and sell it for what it is worth 7 to 800. Stupid ass tax stamp.

There are many good uppers that can be bought for $300 including the bolt and charging. The lowers run about $110 - $130. FFL dealer charges me $15. Shipping is free some times, other times $15. Less than $450. Have a complete 300 AR rifle and pistol for that.

Please don't forget what that type of stuff is. Super-economic-grade parts put on by people who are supposed to be cutting just about every corner with little to no quality control. RRA makes pretty good rifles.

No NFA disclaimer? Shotty write up. Buyer will have to find a Class 3 SOT FFL dealer to receive it, do a Form 4, beg your CLEO to sign it, finger prints, etc, wait 5 months till ATF approved the Form 4 to be able to legally own it and take it home. Hope your CLEO won't mind you having a SBR, he has to sign the paperwork. If you can't get approved, then the dealer would most likely pay you pennies on the dollar for the SBR, at that point it's "used" even though you never took possession of it. Much more logical to build an AR pistol, then do the Form 1, then buy this or another stock of your choice once you get your stamp in hand. EDITED, realized it was Form 4 vice 1 to buy an already built SBR.

My LGS is always pushing RRAs and I just never did get the appeal.

It is just something that you can't have that is the appeal.

You're acting like $1500 is insane for an AR. It isn't, though I won't be buying this one any time soon.

Kentucky Gun Company can have some good prices from time to time but their attention to customers sucks. They've had my certified check for 3 working days now and no change in order status (it says still waiting on check). I called them and after 15 minutes on hold, I hung up. I sent them an email with no response for 3 days and the answer that I finally received was wrong. Once I'm finish my current business with them, no more from me.

They do have some good deals. But their customer service is lacking.

So why charge 1,500 ? What is the stock really worth a thousand dollars ?

I think BCM uses the same parts. Just a hunch, because what both of them sell single parts for is the exact same...

An SBR that still weighs 7LB. without sights, FAIL!

Colt 6920 weighs less.
