Description
This National Match two-stage trigger from RRA is an excellent trigger for your AR15 rifle. These are used frequently in Varmint and Long Range AR builds where a lighter 2 Stage trigger really helps accuracy and round placement. These triggers come pre-adjusted by Rock River gunsmiths as a matched pair and drop in all mil-spec lowers with no adjustment necessary for an easy drop-in install. Rock River 2-stage NM pins are .1555 in diameter and are not recommended or designed to be used with .154 pins or .170 Colt lower receivers. .1555 RRA Trigger pins will install in any standard milspec lower receiver without modification but may be noticeably more snug than the .154 pins upon install.
Rock River Arms, Inc. produces American made, custom built rifles and pistols.

These have been $ 79 since like 2004. Not really a deal
Listen folks, there is a much better trigger for $80 plus $7.95 shipping. It's the LaRue MBT-2S, and it's a "World Class Trigger". Go to, www.larue.com.... Take the time to randomly select, and read some of the more than 1350 reviews written by knowledgeable AR owners. I bet you order one.
Thanks for the tip! Seems like we're finally getting options in 2-stage competition triggers, after decades of only 1-stage [bleah!] alternatives...
I agree, I have the varmint version of the Rock River it's not a bad trigger but for the money the LaRue MBT-2s blows it out of the water.
This is a national match trigger for service rifle matches. Shooting with a trigger below 4.5# will get you disqualified.
Just spend the extra 70 bucks and get a geissele.. 2 stage trigger, with the second stage coming in at a crisp 2.5 pounds is hard to beat. It’s a precision rifle trigger made for an AR...
Hard to go for this when the LaRue is less than $90 right now.
I've owned these, and for me they are at the low end of what I would consider for a trigger upgrade. They are functionable, but there is a much better option for only $7 more. Check out the LaRue MBT-2S. For $87. It is an Awesome trigger. IMHO there is no upgrade of any kind, you can do for under $100 that will increase your accuracy, constancy, or shooting enjoyment more than the MBT-2S trigger.
This is a good trigger. I have a few in my builds.
I have several of the national match along with the varmint two stage triggers in 7 different ars. If you pair this trigger along with the JP reduced power spring, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better trigger for the money. You absolutely cannot go wrong with these at this price, highly recommend. I read several complaints from people saying that the triggers don't work properly after a huge amount of rounds through the firearm, I can tell you I put over 2,000 rounds through mine without a hitch. Works perfectly each and every time. Probably breaks at 3 lb on the varmint trigger with a job spring, with very little to no creep and consistent each and every time
I would pay $10 more for the varmint trigger instead.

And then you can't shoot NRA service rifle because you'll be DQ'd for a trigger below 4.5#... There's a reason they come in both varmint & match versions. RTB puts either one on sale periodically, so don't feel like you have to pay more for one or the other, just wait a while for the deal to come 'round...
They jacked it up to $89!!!!!!
