Not bad, but I'd still stick with 10/22 and upgrade barrel, stock, etc.. Besides, Ruger is American made so that' s big buying point.

Youll spend most your day off cleaning these tedious .22 autos. I will admit most semi auto .22s are a pain to clean because of how fouled up they get, but atleast on a ruger 10/22 its simple enough to reach all the fouling with most cleaning supplies one has. Tread carefully on this one boys and I would highly consider a 10/22 instead

I bought one, slapped on a 1-4 and a vertical grip. Didn't even get a chance to shoot it, and a buddy offered almost twice what I paid for it.

I was like "SOLD! No takebacks!".

Hey, did the one you get come with the full length handguard that went all the way to the end of the barrel, or only half way up the barrel? I keep seeing pictures online of both lengths for the same UPC.

If you got the VRF14 Rebate last month this goes down to $178.

interesting, apparently the mags are proprietary which might be a problem with cost/availability, seems like a obvious missed opportunity for 10/22 mag compatibility.

According to their description the mags are aluminum. As someone who has never owned a 10/22 but three 10/22 compatible rifles I find that anything less than the original or BX magazines has potential issues.

This appears to be from Derya (Turkey). Ther Derya site has a lot more color options and handguard lengths.

Yep that is exactly what I was thinking as well. I would simply stick with the precision version of the Rugar 10/22 Looks almost exactly the same and has a proven record of quality and there are only a billion magazines available. Rock Island was stupid for not using 10/22 mags. Big missed opportunity.

That’s what keeps me away, mags are expensive right now and not readily available.

If it drops another $25 (the cost of an extra mag) I will buy one.

They are offering a free 25rnd mag rebate:
"FREE 25RD MAGAZINE!
Buy a popular TM22 rifle, get a FREE 25rd magazine."

Does anyone own one of these? I'd love to hear a "real world" review and experience.
This would be sick in their .22TCM caliber!

sootch00 has a video about this gun and it seems like a decent gun for the money.
