Junk ammo from a bad retailer. The CEO wants to be political, well so will my wallet.

Shot some Rem UMC in my AR9, very inconsistent loads, 25% had much less recoil than the rest. The AR9 ran superbly on Fiocchi very consistent loads, no cycling issues on either, wish I had a chrono to verify

FYI. I ordered the 250 round megapacks. Yesterday got an email that order was cancelled due to lack of availability. Checked website and was in stock and for sale at higher price than what I originated at. Called customer support and all they could say was sorry, it went out of stock again as I called. Why was it even for sale then with unfulfilled orders out there. Got another sorry and have a nice day. Lost my business.

I ordered the 100 rd boxes and order still not fulfilled. Glad to hear you got yours. Was beginning to think this was a scam to drive up their new store revenues. They charge your card before it ships which is odd. Most places charge when item ships...but most places didn’t just come back from bankruptcy.

Give it some time, or maybe contact customer support. They aren't coming back from bankruptcy, it is an entirely new company that is starting from the ground up, so some hiccups with be expected, especially so early in the process.

Correct, I'm seeing no one else here has read up on this before posting. Gander mtn was a failed business, cool stuff but terrible pricing and generally under staffed. Even as they were going out of business they started offering a higher discount closer to their final day to liquidate inventory. I went in on their last weekend and actually left with fixtures instead of products because I could still find a better deal online... Be with 50% off! Either way, they sold to camping world.

Marcus Lemonis isn't starting off very well making comments that piss off half the country. I have never purchased anything from this company. And since Marcus Lemonis actually told us (Trump supporters) NOT to shop at his stores, I will abide by his wishes. What he said was more than just a 'hiccup'. I would have bought a few of these deals IF...it were a different company who actually wanted my business. They won't be getting my CC#.

You need to learn a lot about business. Gander Mountain files for bankruptcy to get rid of debt. Sold off their inventory They changed the name to Gander Outdoors new owner new start same old workers . Gander prices are to high and customer service is very bad. They will fail again.

You are correct. I went to Gander Mountain 3 times in my life. Once to look for some ammo and twice to buy handguns. Needless to say I did not buy anything from them any of those times. Rude and impolite employees, prices 20% higher than anywhere else. I was not surprised when I saw them fail. And if they did not change corporate culture and pricing approach they WILL fail again. I honestly don;t know anybody who bought guns or ammo from them.

Gander Mountain bought on credit from a middle-man making our prices 10-20% higher, so that was an issue. Gander Outdoors prices are very competitive with Academy and other sporting goods stores now. Much lower than it was when it was Gander Mountain. Customer service will vary from store to store. Our store was known for it's exceptional service, as were most of them in NC.

Never compare Gander Outdoors prices with Academy Sports. Academy has the lowest prices in the business.Gander Outdoors/Gander Mountain same place The prices are still high.

Their prices are not bad at all now. Gen5 Glock 19 is 519 member priced. Cheaper than anywhere local to me. Good ammo prices as well. Gander Mountain was 100% the opposite.

Gander will fail, Marcus Lemonis is only speeding up the process.

Hey guys, I am employed at my local Gander Outdoors. I work in the fishing department part-time while doing college. However, if anyone has questions about Gander Outdoors, what happened to Gander Mountain, or any other questions about our ideology moving forwards... ask away and Ill answer the best I can. Note, Im not a paid public relations person, nor was I asked to come here. Ive just seen some confusion and thought I would help out the best I could.

No big difference .The firearms assholes from Gander Mountain took Gander Mountain down. Their attitude towards their customers sucked. They filed for bankruptcy to get ride of debt owed to their wholesalers and distributors . I hope the new Gander Outdoors goes under also.I would not spend another dollar there.

Your a real smart ass . When you order a $125.00 ammo order and is shows up all busted up Then you call and get we are sorry and want to give you a $10.00 gift card . That was the last order i ever bought from those people.Maybe when you get your stuff all busted up or your car smashed and the guy says sorry. You will see the other side .

Bulleye, it sounds like you are basing your statement off of one store. Our store in NC, as with most of the stores in NC, we known for great customer service. There were a few bad eggs, and the new company did not rehire them. If you choose not to shop there, that is fine though. But it is an entirely new company, with a whole new ideology. It just kept the name Gander because the new company paid for the right to keep it, and wanted to keep the name somewhat familiar.

You may want to inform Mr. Lemonis to keep his political comments to himself. Pissing off Republicans is a pretty big mistake. And telling them not to shop at your establishment? Very dumb idea. They won't get any more of my gun/ammo/or anything else business. I am thinking it won't be long before they go under (again) with comments like that.

You’re such a moron to say that. You’re probably one of those Internet buying sorts to save $10 off a deal anyways. Doubt they want you in the store let alone your money.

I wouldn't spend a dime at any of his stores. It'll be a good day when Gander fails a second time.

Duana - It was a very foolish choice, however, while he was the main guy that funded the project, Gander Outdoors has a whole separate executive board. He is just the CEO of camping world which is the parent company. I can assure you that his mentality does not reflect what the company believes. In fact, most stores will be catering to the 2A conservative community with services such as "build your own AR-15 in store". Where customers can not only come in and buy a prebuilt AR, but can build it from the ground up with quality parts from brands such as AERO. I can assure you that GO isnt going to be some liberal type store.

look at their website, they have zero semi auto rifles, except for rimfire, and in rimfire they refuse to have a scary black looking stock. it is indeed a liberal company, probably set up to make other retailers look bad to the public that eats the yahoo news type of garbage. I give gander a year, Mr. Lemonis is also anti hunting as proven by his stint on shark tank. Mr Lemonis is an idiot.

Coming from Cobra Tactical. A Commiefornia company that sells product it doesn't have and then after months of not shipping the product(s) they keep 25% of the cost. Never again.

Is the CEO of gander a Taliban loving snowflake that gobbles up abortions while sexting to Hillary?

No but clearly you have reality issues. You’re probably one of those people who stole signs and tried to beat up elderly people who votes or think differently than you.

The CEO of Gander Outdoors, Mr. Lemonis, stated that Trump supporters shouldn't shop in his stores. I drive by one on my way to and back from work, every day. I'm abiding by his wishes and staying out.

The politicians and media already do a good job of keeping us politically divided. So I have a rule when it comes to corporations that I try my best to abide by. Once they enter into the political fray, and take a position like that of Mr. Lemonis...I refuse to purchase their goods or services.

I was just about to order an ass load of ammo...til I saw it was Gander. Then remembered that moron said not to shop there. Won't be getting any of my credit card info. I will just wait till another deal comes along. That is the good thing about stocking up on ammo.

I hate when posters come on here and pretty much order me and everyone else not to buy from this company or that item. But since it was the actual company saying don't shop here, I will abide by their decision. Peace...

I thought Gander took a big ol' retail shit? Our DFW locations are locked up tighter than a Catholic church in Iran.

Saw your comment and thought the same thing. Did some research and looks like Camping World bought the remnants of the company in a bankruptcy proceeding. Now looks like they're re-opening half of the old stores. At the moment, Ft. Worth will be the only DFW store to re-open.
