I bought three of them during that period. I think it's a decent little gun. It has worked perfectly since round one, which a lot more than I can say for my Kahr 380.
My wife likes it a lot more than her LCP because the slide is much easier to work, and the recoil seems much less punishing.
That being said, the trigger annoys the crap out of me. It's pretty gritty, and it doesn't release the hammer until the trigger is almost up against the frame. It doesn't bother my wife, but she's a relatively new shooter. For an old 1911 shooter like me, it's awful.
Yeah a buddy of mine got it and only said the trigger vould be better. Other than that, no complaints. He said the trigger reminds him of the Taurus TCP, how it's a very long pull how you described. All that said, for $100 I believe it's still a hell of a deal.
How easy is it to strip down the trigger components? Is this something that can be fixed by polishing the metal components?
This gun sucks. Have you pulled the trigger on one? Do it and you will see what I mean. I hate mine.
In that case, I am more concerned with warranty and support. I guess you don't get no warranty once they are out of the business. Thank you for the heads up
Sig makes this gun, so it is a good by
Sig does NOT make this gun. Remington makes this gun in Huntsville, AL.
The Glock guy again knowing nothing about guns...
Sig Sauer is making this Remington?
No. The RM380 is made by Remington in Huntsville, AL.
I did a rebate on a 870 a year ago, took about a month. I think at $137 after ffl plus no tax, its hard to say no to this deal
They just built a new plant in Birmingham, AL, so I don't know what you are basing this off of..
We got ours. Hard to beat it for $99
Got 1 for 219 from combat armory on 11/1/17 and just got the $100 rebate check from Remington on 12/23/17
Good luck getting the rebate from Remington. All the signs point to them being on the verge of bankruptcy.
Smoking deal on a great little pocket rocket. I bought mine for $219 shipped a couple months ago or so and thought that was a crazy deal, this one would be $217 inc shipping. Rebate arrived pretty quickly.
Should've jumped on this deal when Remington had a $100 rebate a few months ago. Would've been only $100. I did get the Remington R1 1911 for $500 - $100 rebate = $400.
