I got in on that preorder deal where they basically gave them away. Quite a bit heavier than an lcp so recoil is softer. It even ate steel case so I was satisfied with it for the price. I'd probably get an lcp over it though for this price

Should have bought one a year ago when you could pre order them from another company for $119!

Sure there is better guns out there, but a gun is better than no gun. I wouldn't mind picking this up just to add variation to my vault. However I'm in the shltty state of California and can't get this, be grateful if u can.

Better guns out there yes, but better guns for the money? Maybe not. Sorry you can't get this in Cali.

If your a hard core hi point carry person, which no one is, this would be right up your alley. I'd save my money for a real firearm.

Shhhhh...."Deadeye" knows more than Hickok45. After all, he is at his keyboard on the internetz and this gun is like a hipoint somehow because reasons.

Number of buyers at Bud's that actually bought the gun and shot it and took the time to type up a review: 43.
Average review? 4.5 out of 5 stars.

TTAG review: 4 stars for this gun. http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2015/12/daniel-zimmerman/gun-review-remington-rm380/...

But we get it deadeye, you know best.

I wouldn't believe anything from buds. They are on the boycott list along with Springfield and rock river arms. If your gonna reply, have better reputable companies doing the actual reviews.

Your boycott of Bud's doesn't change the reviews from users who have actually bought and shot the gun. But it you need even more reviews in addition to the one from TTAG, here they are:

I would recommend you read them, since you obviously don't own one, but like trashing it online.

It's in stock now, 2 days after your post. May be the last day, but would still be in the time frame for the rebate.

They were out of stock at Combat Armory fairly soon after the rebate started. Listed there at $229 now, but of still out of stock.

Cabelas Gift Card cost = $200 Had some Visa award points that covered the sales tax. Final cost after rebate = $100 + postage. Could not pass it up. The only problem is the two Cabels's stores in my area are out of them. had to back order from home.

Sadly, the price at GunPrepper is $300 plus when in stock. I noticed that when out of stock, the price shows $229.00. Inflated $30 shipping charge either way.

This is what i'm talking about rebates is active but they're increasing the price they are taking advantage on us thinking we just gonna buy bcoz of the $100 rebate nope not always, I might gonna buy if CA bring back to $219 then for sure you will be sold out again Mike,.. & thats my little advice..

The local gun shop by me he sells them for $205 with the $100 MIR it's 105 and still not even worth it imo lol the .380 acp round is TRASH

0 votes
3 votes

Really? He sells them for $205, which is likely at or below their cost? What local gun shop is this? Oh yeah, the nonexistent one! Sorry you don't like the .380ACP round.....lolz imo omg!

380 is a decent caliber considering how small these guns can be made.

I meant to write $215 so sorry I was off $10 and yeah I'd rather have my subcompact 9mm holds 17 or my 2inch snub nose .357magnum which is smaller if not as small but that's just me much better choices

0 votes
0 votes

Well, good for you since you prefer a magnum snubnose revolver over this gun. Why are you threadcrapping here, in a 380 gun deal thread? No one in this thread is interested in your half-witted comments, especially where you call the 380 caliber.... and I quote.... "TRASH".

Lol umm I can send you a picture and the shop is called Tanners Sports Center and Archery in doylestown PA.. why would I lie about a shitty gun a shitty caliber for a low price

Lolz............ummm..........

I like the cute phrases you use because internets lolz!

FYI, the price at that gunshop is $20 higher than what you said. I guess you don't realize that a google search and a phone call takes all of about 2 minutes. At your claimed price of $205 before rebate, I considered buying one from them and having them ship it to my local FFL(hence the call), but of course you just made up that price.....it wasn't real.

Why lie about it, even if by $20? We'll all wait for your 'picture' evidence....."lolz ummm"

As far as your 'shitty gun' comment-- I guess that you know more than hickok45, who is probably the most well known gun reviewer on youtube. He said this is a quality reliable gun, and approves of the 380 caliber given that it gives shooters more carry options.

Also there are 43 user reviews at Bud's on this gun from people who actually bought it and shot it, with a cumulative 4.5 out of 5 stars. Not to mention about a half dozen reviews from places like gundigest, TTAG, etc that give this gun positive reviews.

I believe the $219 was a pre Black Friday sale meaning that the price was lower than normal pricing and even at $229 it is

I think it's code for '16 "stock up" before the election. Usually they don't go above 5% discount on guns
