Hope my online Cabela's receipt will work as they didn't have much .35 remington in stock so I had to get it shipped to store....or could I return them when I go to do store pickup and buy them back to get "cash register receipt" that they require??

Be very cautious when you submit the rebate. I mailed 2 rebate forms in one envelope (bought ammo from 2 different places with separate receipts on Black Friday) with signature confirmation. They only processed one of the forms. I called in and was told they didn't receive the other one and had to submit proof. Luckily I took a picture and was able to get a rebate for the other one.

They are banking you don't make a fuss on missing rebates. Don't let them push you around. Document everything!

You can get 9mm brass case for $10 per 50rd box. Sounds like they jack up the price and call it a "deal" and hopefully some ppl will not go for the rebate.

Hopefully some B&M chain will run 9mm at $10-$11 or .45 for $15-$16 or equivalent for other calibers making it an actual deal, because otherwise there's no way to get a deal out of the rebate.

Academy has answered your wish. 9mm is 10.99 right now. Their free shipping is only $25 so the five boxes will easily get you that.

They're not a B&M for me. And, I wouldn't trust the rebate to accept online purchases. It's very explicit that you must, "Include original cash register receipt(s) for each applicable rebate. (NO EXCEPTIONS)". That would seem to rule out every online shop I've dealt with in years.

I had to fight for my online Academy Sports Black Friday Remington rebate as they ignored my application even though they said a response had been mailed in their online rebate site. When I called they told me: "I was out of compliance due to the purchase being past the date of eligibility." My invoice/online receipt had an order date and a shipping date on it and they used the shipping date as the "purchase date." I explained that the order date is the purchase date as that's when an authorization hold is usually put on your bank funds. Online orders take a day or two to process and I purchased on a Saturday 11/26/16. The nice lady said to re-submit my invoice/receipt and I finally got my 155.00 rebate in mid March. It was a lesson I'm sure others have faced and sometimes denied their rightful rebate. You may have to jump through hoops but be civil and make your case point by point.

I'm still waiting for rebate from Remington 9mm ammo since 11/24/16. Is this going to another scam?

You should have inquired long ago about not receiving your checks for that. I received mine the end of Jan/Begin of Feb.

FWIW, I got both of my Remington rebates from Thanksgiving / Black Friday 2016 on Jan 28th.

I figure this rebate isn't likely to be worth much with a limit of 5 boxes. Shipping from an online store will eat up the rebate since free shipping doesn't happen on low value orders / purchases of only 5 boxes. Local stores don't tend to have very good pricing. Maybe one of the chains like Dick's, Gander Mountain, Cabela's, etc. will put it on sale though.

Also, online purchases also seem to be a rather gray area for this rebate. The wording is very much all about an in-store purchase with "cash register tape" and "cash register receipt(s)" requirements with no provision for an online invoice / packing list / etc.

Academy has free shipping @ $25 which five boxes at $11 each more than meets. I looked at my copies of the rebates from the fall rebates and it was worded the same way as this rebate form and I ordered from Academy and Cabelas and have received my rebate checks long ago.

As tempting as this is I'd like to share a couple of horrid experiences with Remington rebates. First off, even on the 3 good experiences I had they take forever plus a month to process. But I was denied on two of them, one because I didnt have the master carton upc (although I provided all the individual packs upc, Sportsmans guide didnt ship me the master pack and it wasnt noted in the rules I had to either) and the second, because one of the UPC's was torn, cut actually, in two. I had taped it together perfectly since it was cut by a razor blade, but they disqualified the rebate over that. Emails to Remington went unanswered. Do these at your own risk, I wont get screwed again.
