BassPro...get rid of that stupid hold page that refreshes every 30 sec...what a waste of consumers time... just take me to the page man! !!
I visited the homepage and the deal is transparent and says "Sold out" just FYI. Dunno if it's accurate or not
these people don't ship to New Jersey but they are building a new store here. i called them and said i will not be shopping in your store here when you open just because you will not ship here
They cancelled my order and told me that they couldn't ship to NJ because of NJ laws (NOT TRUE). So I exchanged a few emails with their customer service. I won't do any more business with them. I only do business with companies that support the RKBA in New Jersey.
"In order to sell, transfer, purchase or otherwise acquire any handgun ammunition in New Jersey, the transferee must be a licensed gun dealer, wholesaler or manufacturer, or possess a Firearms Purchaser Identification Card, a permit to purchase a handgun, or a permit to carry a handgun"
Maybe BassPro does not want to deal with the paperwork / liability? 22LR might be a rifle round but many, many pistols use this round and they might not want to take the chance of an expensive legal battle.
Cabelas, MidwayUSA and many other vendors sell ammo online to NJ residents with an FID. They don't have to sell me anything just like I can also choose to take my money elsewhere. I no longer look forward to shopping at their store in 2015. I do business with those who support RKBA in NJ.
well your right about FID card. 22 lr say's Long Rifle Rifle ammo . but it can be used in a hand gun .the point is there are retailers that ship both hand gun and rifle ammo . one place does not ship hand gun ammo only 22 lr . one place need a copy of my FID card . point is i have a FID Card so i can get what i want. the first time ordering from retailers i called them some said it was ok. to ship ammo. one place wanted my FID for hand gun ammo,the point is Bass Pro is building a store here in New Jersey they will have to get paper work done .so they just could of said we need a copy of your FID card on file to ship to you.but they don't care.
All 3 of mine arrived in great shape no popped tops.
did they tape the tops down? they taped the box exteremly well, the box was much bigger than the bucket, maybe with 3 they fit tighter, no newpaper or any kind of packing material, just the bucket in a way too big box...
So I got my bucket, whom ever put it in the box wasn't smart enough to tape down the top, yup you guessed it most of them ended up in the box, not going to count to see if they are all there, I just won't order from them again.
hard to believe I got excited about the crappiest 22 bullets out there...but OOS so I may have just saved myself $70 and 1400 rounds of frustration
Finally some low price (relatively speaking) .22LR in bulk. Nabbed one while the getting was good.
Bass Pro Shop BOOOO!
Deal does not work. First time trying to shop with them and also the last time trying to shop with them. Bad retailer IMO.
