I've bought two of these, can't say anything bad about them. The trigger is much better than my Kimber, and the fit and finish is great. With that being said, if you are going to add parts to this gun (beavertail, hammer, trigger, sights) just buy a 1911 with these parts standard. I tried to save money by doing this myself and it ended up being quite the investment. Great shooter nonetheless.
Isn't any Remington purchase now available with a grain of salt?

Bought mine 4 years ago.... No problems running the gun....100 Percent.... tight fit so you will need the supplied barrel bushing wrench....except for the Colt name this is as good..the mags supplied are garbage.
I purchased one from grabagun last month for $475 after rebate. Very nice fit and finish on this one. I had one a year ago that was sloppy with tooling marks, and I sold it. Might be a toss up if you get one made on Monday.
At this price, with the rebate it's a great deal.
After posting on here last night and sending an email to the company, my FFL notified me that he had received the firearm earlier in the day. The company wrote me back first thing in the morning to let me know they had tracked it and found it had been delivered. So 1 week turn around time and great customer service. I would definitely purchase from them again.
As far as the gun goes, its awesome. Looks great and has the best trigger I have felt. I am amazed I picked it up at such a good price.
Still no update.
Ordered last Friday and that all seemed good. I notified my ffl. When I placed the order, they said that it could take up to 3-5 days to ship. Tomorrow will be 1 week and still have not been notified. How long should I wait before I call?
Ordered today. Live in Ohio and it appears to ship from Texas. It looks like a great deal. Will update here when I receive it.
Thank you - please do. I got this email this morning and was wondering what the quality of this handgun is. It looks like a very great price
i had one, very sloppy poor quality. i thought Remington its probably good quality i was WRONG
Used to have one of these, besides being a 1911 it was actually a pretty good and reliable gun as far as 1911s go. Probably the best thing from remington atm.
