I just bought a 870 police magnum that was a store model for 390$ I put a eotech front forearm light instead of a surefire only Bc I wasn’t spending 350$ on a light. Instead I won the eotech brand new for $90 bucks on eBay. Then I bought a Mesa pistol full stock and a Mesa 6 shell carrier with rail for 81$ on optic planet. I’m still going but I’m WAY below 1000$ and it’s a lot better then that thing.
Police versions of the 870 usually sell around $600. The Surefire light is another $250, and the WC sights are about $150. There's the $1K (although I don't see why Remington is essentially charging full price for the upgrades).
In this price range, I imagine most folks will just opt for a Benelli.
Why the hell is the Remington $1000? Okay, flashlight and upgraded sights might account for a $450 sale price however where does the other $550 come from?
HMB while I light this stack of Benjamins on fire?
any of you that have been on here since the slickguns days, know by now that I'm both a Wilson combat and 870 fan boy but this 870 is WAY over priced, even if old mr Wilson himself did the action job and personally tuned it properly, then signed it.
so not for me....
