I'd take mine to hell and back.ive killed so much shit with this thing and it has never failed me.i had to replace the shell extractor because I put so many rounds thru it.ive also used it as a boat paddle..shoots good every time
All Remington products have gone down hill and they took marlin down with them
I've only shot mine once, but I put 25 rounds of birdshot and around 15 rounds of buckshot through it without a problem. I can't say the same about my Mossberg 590. That's supposed to be a quality combat shotgun, and it would drop shells right out of the loading port. Besides being reliable out of the box, the 870 feels a lot more solid as well, partly due to the receiver being made out of steel, but also because the forearm has a lot less play than a Mossberg. I got mine for $306.99 shipped, before the $60 rebate, so for $246.99, I couldn't be happier with it.
Please tell us all about your bad experience owning this shotgun.
Can you help a fellow shopper out? I can see this is not the shotgun to take into battle but why is this junk?
Would love to jump on this deal, but the rebate expired 9/30/16. Still not a terrible deal just with the 10% off and free shipping.
