here's what I got on the inquiry:

The firearm with the UPC code that you are checking on is part of the rebate. Please send in the required information to take part in this rebate .

Thanks for contacting Remington .

Thank you and best regards,

I spoke with Ashley at the rebate center, who also confirmed this with her supervisor Kelly. I also spoke with LeRose at Remington who confirmed this as well and sent me a confirmation email after we talked on the phone.

How did you submit the rebate? when you go online, there is no UPC to submit.

Based on blackflame's post, we're getting different answers from the same company. I got the verbal confirmation from the rebate management company that even though the upc doesn't show up, it DOES qualify for $100 rebate. More importantly, I have an email from Remington stating the same, that this gun (and its associated upc) do qualify for the full $100, and that the missing upc from the rebate page is a typo.

could you post who you emailed? Id like to email as well, because if we send the wrong rebate, we might be screwed out of both!

I got a email from customer service that said only covered under a $50 rebate. So I don't know where people come off saying $100. The advertisement tells you, you can have $100 off SPS rifles but it is only listed under $50 rebate-us. No SPS rifles are listed under tax fund rebate. Just FYI Remington promotion #65141 show a picture of a sps rifle and even says sps rifles $100 off but have no sps rifles listed under $50 off tax refund rebate is false advertisement.

I don't think this qualifies for the current 2016 rebates as it is not a 'Varmint' model 700.

It does.

UPC 047700842035 is listed as eligible. Good price. Seriously considering one.

You are right, there is only a $35 rebate for the Model 700 SPS, title corrected.

This $75 rebate doesnt apply to this?

If it does, that's a very solid deal...

I bought of these when they first came out.. MSRP was $650 I think and they were supposedly hard to get.. I bought mine from Vance's for $599. If this is the threaded AAC-SD with 1:10" twist, this is a smoking deal, so much that I'm tempted to buy another one.

But that would be outright silly since the one I have hasn't even had a round through it because every time I come up on a chunk of bread I pick up another firearm instead of buying glass for it. My concept was to install an Aimpoint hunter and use it for fast acquisition wild pig and or limb / organ removal inside of 300 yards.

This hobby is like a sickness.

I've been following this gun on grabagun for awhile. Before black Friday was $620, then jumped to $646. So I waited...bought yesterday at $561. 2 hours later I cancled my order because ky gun co. Had them for $515. Now this morning grabagun has them for $507. At this rate they should be about $100 by Xmas...right?

All I gotta say is you woulda got a smoking deal regardless. $561 Is nothing to sulk about but less is always better. This gun is worth every penny. Although I haven't shot mine yet I have handled it quite a bit and it feels good. Short and handy. My buddy has the regular SPS and it's a straight shooter. He goes out to 700 yards and hasn't done anything but scope it and load it. I chose this this because of the twist and the factory threaded barrel. Lobbing heavy grain, hard hitting .308 without hearing protection just sounds like fun. Hope you get one on the super cheap. You'd like it if you paid MSRP.

I cancelled my order with them yesterday because ky gun co. Had it $50 cheaper. This morning they drop thier price another $50... Something fishy here.

Just bought mine. Saw that KY gun co. has them for $499 now...could have saved $50 if I had waited 2 hours. Oh well, still a good price for the gun. I almost bought it on black Friday but they jacked the price up $20 so I waited. Saved about $100 with this deal (was $646 a couple days ago). I've never done business with either company, but grabagun got my order processed really quickly and customer service was quick and friendly. Now to find some 168gr FGMM...

snagged one of these and couldn't be happier!! Been to the range only twice(ohio weather). Love the Hogue "rubbery" stock. Super quiet with a YHM Phantom .308 SUPP. No need for hearing protection at all. I haven't found the sweet spot for ammo yet, but everyone tells me it is Federal Gold medal match 175 grain. It does have the 1in10 twist barrel. I warmed it up with 150 gr(heaviest I had) and it held a straight vertical line until I got the scope sighted in.

You can't go wrong if your looking for one with a threaded barrel. I sold my ADL I got last year on Black Friday in place of this one ;)
