I agree, Adl is the bottom. I bought mine and just added to it as I could afford. Out of the box it shoots sub moa. Each birthday I'd ask for new stuff. 4 years later I have a timney trigger, hogue floated/bedded and detachable mags Nikon scope and I can hit beer cans at 300rds every time off a rest using 150gr corelokt
The ADL is the bottom of the 700 barrel, but still the flagship series for Remington. This rifle should be much better than a Remington 783.
Is the ADL a decent step up from the 783? I recently shot a friend's 783 in .30-06 at a range and while the gun shot nice and accurate, I was not a fan of the rather sticky and clumsy bolt along with the rounds taking a couple of pushes with the bolt to finally chamber completely
