So they take rejected barrels that did not pass inspection for M24 rifle, shave it to have different contour, call it "mill spec" and charge $900 for it. If you read reviews Savage 10 FCP-SR shoots comparable or better than this rifle and can be found for $350 less.

These rifles are much higher quality than the Savage. With the Remington you're getting a fiberglass stock with bedding block, not a plastic piece of Savage junk. Between me and my friends we have 4 of these rifles and they're all very accurate. The .308s are easily sub-moa with factory ammo and the .300 magnums are 1/2 moa with handloads. If you handle this gun side by side with a Savage its easy to tell which one is better quality. And a heck of a deal at $650 after rebate. The stock alone is worth $300.
