I give their Enhanced line a big thumbs up. I have the .45ACP version and it has been a great gun for me. Its very tight and well made from what I can see. Mine has a good trigger. The Enhanced version has most of the upgrades I want or would add myself such as fiber-optic front sight / adjustable rear sight, extra checkering, front slide serrations, etc. Before I bought mine I looked at both the R1 Enhanced 1911 and "regular" R1 1911 in Cabelas and they are totally different guns. The "regular" R1 1911 is a basic "Government" version that has none of the features I listed above - I would never even consider buying it. The few extra dollars for the Enhanced version is money well spent.
