Great way to get started,,,
Primer catcher isn't quite up to the task,,, (The 3D printed replacements on Ebay work great!)
The press itself will outlast most owners, (and perhaps their children as well!)
Now that I have a progressive, my Rockcrusher is used primarily for target rifle reloading.
If your looking for a single stage press, and you only plan on reloading pistol, and perhaps some 'small' rifle, the RCBS 'Explorer' / "Explorer Plus***" series may be better suited to the task. It's smaller 'Reloader 5' press is more than adequate, with less mass / shorter stroke, and the OEM primer catcher reportedly works quite well.

The 'Rockcrusher' press is a bit of overkill for pistol reloading,,, Kinda like buying a 1 ton truck just to haul a couple bags of groceries. It will darn sure get the job done, and probably last forever doing it, but it really isn't the absolute best tool for that kinda work.
If medium/large rifle is your fancy, then absolutely, the Rockcrusher is what you need.
Just bought for $290 on amazon.
