I had just about everything in this set before upgrading a few years ago and I was wondering the same thing. I would really like to hear why this is called “tactical”...wonder if that boosted sales at all? Like everything else at Natchez, this is overpriced.

I don't shop at Natchez. I've given them a chance in the past, but they have butchered my order at my expense more than I desired. Too many good sellers out there to go with this outfit. And I'll give anyone a chance at least once.

this would be cool if there was any decent powder available for 223.

Frankly, I'd go for Dillon Precision if I were to put up this much money for a setup.

Dillon would end up far beyond this price with getting everything you need, if you got anything other than a single stage, and if you are doing that then a Lee single stage works just as well for half the price. They are great systems but probably going to be beyond the budget of a first time reloader.

huh? allot of the things on the list isnt needed with the 550b. and even if you bought a lee classic single stage for swagging you would still be less money. and its a progressive so more bullets faster

This includes some good parts but you would probably get just as good of a deal by individually shopping and getting exactly what you want. You are also going to need a case trimmer, more than likely at least. For a little more money you could get a Hornady progressive press and everything else you needed.

Hornady: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/679228/hornady-lock-n-load-ap-progressive-press...

If the Hornady is beyond your budget then Cabela sells a Lee kit that is half the price of this one and is a Turret instead of single stage. Just some thoughts for anybody considering this.
