Picture is a bit misleading. 2 brackets are $40, the double stack target frame takes 6 brakets and 2 straps to hold the gongs plus the bolts/pins. Cool setup, just poorly described

Cool idea; but the same could be done with sawhorse brackets. To hang the targets, paracord works very well. use bolts to offset the weight and hang the targets such that they deflect the lead down. http://i.imgur.com/CItB6RK.jpg... http://i.imgur.com/lkbnRAJ.jpg...

Yea it's a rip alright & who would use wood 2x2s anyway, 2x4s much better

The 2x2s works very well with this fold up portable design concept. No need for 2x4s they would be very heavy and bulky in comparison. We can get thousands of rounds on this target system using 2x2s with no extra cost or weight.

I doubt that with a Big Boy rifle like a 50BMG or even a 338 Lapua, 458 Lott, etc. Maybe with your bb gun or 22 LOL :)

LOL agreed, the wood would not be ideal for a .50 cal, but perfect for 308, 223 etc. If needed to be used with larger calibers you can switch the wood to .250 wall 1.5"x1.5" steel tubing
