The Radical Firearms Zero Impulse Muzzle Brake features a highly effective, patent pending three chamber design that redirects high pressure gasses. This significantly reduces both felt recoil and muzzle rise, aiding the shooter in staying on target even during full auto fire. The rear-angled side ports with generous top ports are exceptionally effective, allowing for faster follow-ups and dramatically reducing the effort required to stay on target. Machined from a solid piece of 4150 chrome moly steel and finished with an exceptionally corrosion resistant salt bath Nitride, this AR-15 muzzle device is highly durable as well!

These perform very well. I've done two builds with them, and I have five of these set back for future builds. I would rate them at 5 stars on performance, 3.5 stars on finish, and 4 stars in appearance. Overall, they are much better than anything you will find for under $30.
Check out Joe Bob Outfitters. Com, if I remember correctly they had stag compensators on sale for roughly $13.
At one point this was only $12.89 from optics planet without any discount code. But at $15.99 it’s still a great deal.
Have this one (ordered from optics planet a few weeks ago) on my 18" AR. It does a really nice job. No muzzle climb, noticeably reduced recoil. Definitely increases the muzzle blast felt by those to either side, but blast/noise didn't increase at all from the shooters point of view. Will be picking up another one for my son's 3-gun upper.
Anything Radical Firearms is straight rubbish.
I am not POSITIVE it's the same one, but Optics Planet has what appears to be the same brake for $12.89 before any discounts you may find out there... I doubt this is a very special brake, but it comes with a crush washer and it's a good idea to have an extra laying around anyways.

I have these on two of my uppers. Over the past two years I've installed these on around a dozen builds, and another dozen upgrades I've done for clients. They reduce recoil very well, and are the best brake I've seen at minimizing muzzle jump. On an AR they render a no nonsense tactical appearance. If you want a brake that performs very well at a low price, this is it.
