I'm sorry y'all have had so many issues with your Radical Firearms components, but my experience has been radically different. Only ever had their uppers, but the pistol upper was very well gassed, one of the smoothest shooting pistols I've shot. The rifle length uppers haven't had issues, they looked great, and we're surprisingly accurate. No jams, malfunctions, or failures of any kind. If I needed another 18" upper, I wouldn't hesitate to order one. Just my experience, hope y'all have better luck with RF, they're good people. I just think they're a smaller operation doing the work of a much larger one, but who knows. My 2 cents

I honestly think that this particular upper is the problem and not Radical. Who knows, they might have had a person putting the wrong gas tubes on some of them.

I've had 2-3 full AR's and another 2 full uppers from Radical and had great results until I bought this one from Brownells for $200. SINGLE SHOT. I think it was WWWWAAAAYYYYY undergased. Radical emailed me back within a few hours of me asking for warranty service but warned me their current turn around time was 3-4 weeks (6+ months ago) so I just returned to Brownells because it was easier. This is a $400+ upper with some good features, if you are willing to wait for a repair to save $$$ this is a good deal but I just wanted something to work out of the box.

I bought some radicals a few years back and had good results. I grabbed 2 this year and both were out of spec. I was told I could send it back and they’d fix or replace it within 48 hours of receiving it. It took multiple calls and emails to get it back over a month later. New one still jams like crazy. I thought they did a bunch of LE sales lately too. It’s scary they let stuff like this leave their shop.

My radical went wrong. Over gassed, hand guard screws stripped out. And the anodizing on the upper looks like it was done while drunk.
