Annoy your friends by thumping the band. Seriously if the band hits or rubs anything, it amplifies the sound. I prefer the yellow cylinder type, but these do have the advantage of easy off. Don’t forget to put them back on.

The QB2 are great inside or out. I've been using them professionally and otherwise for years. Convenient on/off and comfortable.

The QB1 has more of an in ear plug, but still a good set and for 3 bux seems like a good deal. The QB2 and QB3 have a larger plug that rests more on the outside of your ear canal, which to me is more comfortable.
I bought these a few weeks ago when they first came on here. Was skeptical when I received them because the plugs are huge. But they are made to NOT go in to your ear canal, but just rest outside snugly and letting the foam plug mold to your canal opening. They do quiet the report of my 9mm enough that is is comfortable to shoot outside. Inside I would doubt these do much at all, but I have not personally tested. I just ordered a set of QB3 to see how they are now. These come with a set of plugs installed already and also have a spare set in the bag. Extremely light and easy to wear around the back of your neck. The foam does not soak up sweat either.
These are simple, light weight, fast to put on, and just easy to use. They are very budget friendly too. Check out Hichok 45 videos on youtube. He uses these all the time. I really like mine. I use them when I'm just doing a little shooting in my backyard and do not need electronic protection. I like to spray paint mine black or OD b/c yellow and orange is not for me.

Case of 200 pairs disposables are $20. I'd rather have a new fresh set when I want, you can always re-use the disposables if need be. Had a guy give me an almost full box of .45 ammo at the range because his buddies forgot ear protection, and I always keep a bunch of extra pairs of disposables in my range bag
