Im using 30 rd clips on all my nines. Theyre alot lighter than these semi-auto machine guns.
Feuerstoss = fun mode(if you're lucky enough to have a full auto gun)
But when set to f or e it is semi only with the semi shelf welded on the gun
take away the HK hype and this would be $659.
bought a PTR 9C end of May, it arrived in June. I had to send it back for service after less than 50 rounds at the range, something broke off the inside of the magazine-well and it wouldn't hold mags in place. Don't buy junk like I did. They said I should get it back end of July / early August. Waste of $1,700 plus SB brace and extra mags I bought for it. As soon as it comes back it'll be on armslist for the next unfortunate person to play hot-potato with PTR's garbage quality control till it breaks again and has to toss it off to the next person.
For this price you may as well get a MPX which is an improved design over the venerable MP5
I love mine, but word to the wise as you just can’t put a suppressor on and run it. To just shoot unsuppressed 147’s reliably, you need an 80 degree locking piece on the K models. Early PTR models may not have a bolt that is compatible to HK spec. I found this out the hard way, but luckily only gave ears a good ringing with my Omega 9k on it. Full size MP5s don’t appear to have this issue.
I bought one of these pieces of crap. Had to immediately send it back for warranty service. Don't waste your money on PTR and just buy a zenith, or a real HK one.
I got one over 6 months ago, it would not eject empty cases, back it went to ptr 3 weeks later it arrived with a new lower and bolt, worked fine, but I found an Sp5k and the ptr is gone now.
I have no trouble with mine, got it about 3 months ago put over 300 rounds through it no problems.
They better keep gouging on these before the PS5 comes out and cleans everyone's clocks.
Any year now psa... and then you have to wait for generation 3 to come out...
Why not just fork over a little more for the real SP9K?
I own the EVO and this. Between the Evo and the 9kt I would get the Evo. Now, the EVO takes some work, HB trigger spring, new grip, extended charging handle, SB brace (highly recommend), so you’ll end up dropping some additional money. My 9KT is a smooth shooter and as accurate as my Evo though. Pros and cons to both platforms really.
Twice as good as CZ Evo to justify 2X the price? ....no way. Probably not even as good as an Evo.
I would love one of these but 50 dollar mags and 400 dollar braces gives me pause
Put one of these on backorder the other day, with 10% it came to $1540 shipped. Called Brownells and these are suppose to be shipping out the end of this month. Confirmed an OoS order puts you in line. Wait for the 10% codes. With the left over money, the SP5tka brace is on order.
When you backorder at Brownell's, do they charge your card immediately?
Oos?! I wasn't really interested in it anyway.
Most likely the cheapest price u will find within the next year on these new releases. If u can find them. And biggest question is this another Brownells backorder abiss..
As usual SOLD OUT, but accepting back orders. I have NEVER had a good experience with Brownells.
